Is 6'2" (188 cm) tall for a guy?

I am 17 and 6'1" and have heard from my doctor that I will probably grow to 6'2"-6'3". Is it tall because I know a few 17 year olds that are already 6'4" Also, did you grow any taller past 17?

Im a girl and girls grow faster than guys but don't grow for as long so you could have more time. I stopped growing at 14 /: lol.

the 17 year olds that are 6'4 might already be done growing and if your doctor says you aren't then you most likely aren't. Everybody is different soooooooo.

ANND anything 6'0 and up is a good height and even 5'10 is tall in my opinion. and a one inch difference isn't a big deal lol. (THE AVERAGE MAN IS 5'9)

Yes, that is tall for a male, but this also depends on where you live in the world, in Germany you would be no giant, but taller than many. When I was 16, I was 5'6, at 18 5'11 , at 19 6'3 and still growing.
My mom is only 5'3, my dad 5'9, but my mother's father kept growing till 21 and was 6'5 and I and he look alike. So, I guess your doctor is right when he says, you're going to be 6'3, in my case he was right...

Its tall but not "super tall". Seriously that is a great height for a man. I am 18 and 5'11" and have been here since 16 i guess. Don't know if i will grow taller anymore but i guess some people grow till 21...

I am 6'2", some people say I'm tall, but there's a guy in my office who's like 6'7" and I think HE is tall!

I would say that it is an average among tall guys, basically if you are taller you look like a giant

I'm 6'2" and I think I squeezed maybe another 1/4" out since I was 17.

It's fairly tall, 5'10 is about average for young men, plenty of guys are taller though. I'm no taller than when I was 17 (21 now).

Anything over 6' is tall in my opinion. I am 6'3" and I know I grew a bit after age 17, though I don't remember how much.
