Nah, I'd probably be like " Holy shite, she just brought me food, +20 respect points gained to the bringer of the food". If you bring me cupcakes you'll become my friend and depending on the person I might even start thinking about possible feelings for that person. But mostly I'll be happy that I got a damn cupcake.

It depends, as long as you don't make it awkward it would be wonderful. Especially if you made it yourself.
