Have you ever met a Mestizo Mexican person (that's born and raised in the US) who took a little more pride in his/her Spaniard side than?

than his/her Amerindian/Indigenous side? As a very light-skinned Mestizo Mexican, while I have absolutely nothing against my Indigenous side and take a lot of pride of that as well, I take really huge pride of my Spaniard side if I ignore the negatives of what they've done in the past to Latin America and focus more on their positives that they contributed.

I ask this since the majority of Mexicans who were born and raised in the US take more pride in their Aztec side than they do their Spaniard side, even if they don't even know if whether or not their indigenous side are really Aztecs.

I don't really take pride in neither the indigenous nor Spaniard side. But I think my family has more Mayan than Aztec ancestors. My great grandma or grandpa are actually Guatemalan. But Guerrero, where my family is from, was Aztec. I have gotten few people tell me that I have "Mayan" features. I don't know what that means, but cool lol
I like learning about all the culture regardless. But I'm not really for "racial pride" or anything like that. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate the cultures, I do. But I don't take pride in things that I had no control of or didn't accomplish myself, like where I was born.

Yes!! Mezteco y triqui !!! I wish I could lead that language :D... And of course they take it more pride on!!! Everyone can speak Spanish, by reading books, friends and sooo onnn.. But mezteco y triqui is sooo much harderrrr!! I just know a few words lol..
