Why did a girl once called Anne Frank ugly and even had the nerve to compare me to her?

Way back in middle school and at the time, I rarely had any comeback for insults. I was shocked to be honest. This was coming from a nearly 17 year-old girl stucked in 8th grade. At the time I was 12-13 years old.

She told me straight fowards that I looked exactly like Anne Frank (I said nothing) but then she had to add ''She was ugly''.

Honestly, now years later I think Anne Frank was actually a cute girl. Plus, she died a horrible death. It's so shocking how a 17 year-old had no compassion for what happened to her.

I think a more interesting question would be "How far in life has that 17 year old girl I knew that was stuck in 8th grade gone?"

Bet the answer would be an amusing one.

I know a 17 year old who loves history and probably admires Anne Frank. Might ask her if we ever chat about World War II. Other 17 year olds have other ideas in life, such as not progressing past 8th grade and degrading others because they clearly have nothing impressive going on about themselves.

At the time her only thing she was good at was friends and having a bf. She repeated 7th grade once and 8th grade like 2-3 times. Think I once ran into her on Facebook a couple years ago when there was a ''People you may list'' showing up. Exactly, as suspected... she dyed her hair blonde and is the crazy party girl type that has tons of friends and guys.

I remember in school, a lad similar to that went to shake my hand in a class and outright slapped me in the face once. Instead of doing what I felt and picking up the nearest chair and applying it to the back of his head, I thought I'd just make sure I do better than him years down the line. Funnily enough, already at 22, I have done.

Thanks. I'm not down anymore. She's now a nobody in life and pretty much hasn't change. She's the type of woman most decent guys wouldn't want either. I guess some people just stay rotten. At least I'm proud of finishing HS without ever repeating a grade. Pretty sson this year will be done with college.

That girl sounds pretty rotten & stupid on top of it. Unfortunately some people are just hateful like that. It's usually because they hate themselves and the only way to make themselves feel better is to hate on everyone else, even poor little Jewish girls who suffered in the holocaust =(

Exactly. A girl that's nearly 17 doesn't sound like a little kid anymore that didn't know what they were saying. That's almost an adult to me and if someone rotten at that age, that's already part of how they will turn out to be when they're older.

No mistake. Just a couple years ago, I ran into her Facebook under the ''list of people you may know'' and she's the wild, party woman with now noticeable, fake blonde hair and still into friends and guys. She's a no one in life.

True. Little did I know at the time how idiotic she was at saying this. It's incredible how at the age someone doesn't know much about such a historical and known person. I learn about Anne Frank way back towards the beginning of 6th grade.
