i'm not really fond of them, but i used to be able to can't stand them even more because i grew up in a city that is over 90 percent hispanic, and it seemed that all of the cholo's, male gang members always got the hottest girls, but later i started opening my eyes more and realize that i need to stop going after the wrong girls, well the key word was that the male gang members usually seemed to be able to attract the hot, cute, pretty girls, i guess it's just that bad-boy vibe they give off.

I definitely am. I hate the bad rep they give to the Spanish community, especially recently. I don't know if there has been an increase, but now everytime someone finds out I'm half Puerto Rican, I'm almost immediately hit with something along the lines of: "Really? But you don't seem like you do drugs."... I don't even know how to respond in those cases -_-

ME!!! Well actually I just can't stand gang members period. I have known many and while most were nothing but nice to me, there was a vibe from them that was just so negative and it just made me feel so uncomfortable (like if I said the wrong thing it could escalate really really fast).

They do many bad things like graffiti, etc. I see what you are saying, most were nice to me too but many talked smack about me behind my back even though I didn't do anything to them. They like made of fun of me. One time in Freshman year in High School one pushed me and other guys from the classroom for no reason as we were exiting the room, and I pushed him back so hard lol. Surprisingly he didn't do anything after that. And another cholo was messing with my backpack, and I snatched it away from him and he said ''Wtf?'' And he was getting close to me but decided to back off on his own. Both incidents happened freshman year in High School. And others like I told you before talked shit behind my back (cholos and cholas).

oh that sucks. I never had to deal with that but mainly because I was and still am a bit oblivious to that kind of smack talk. I find it stupid and annoying so I tuned it out.

There were many of them back when I was in middle and highschool but I didn't have any issues with them because our paths never really crossed, in a negative way at least. I had a friend back in 8th grade who was a cholo, he was a cool dude though. Not gonna lie, the chola look is a pretty mix between girly and tomboy. The tight dickies pants, even the baggy ones, with the black or white shirt was so beautiful to me.

Well the terms are specifically used for the Latino gang members with Mexican heritage but I think they could be used for other Latino gang members too. Latin Kings is a Latino gang with mostly with people with Puerto Rican heritage and nortenos and surenos has people with mostly Mexican heritage.18th street and MS-13 are Latino gangs as well and nearly all of the people in those two gangs weren't born in the United States. Most of them were born in El Salvador. Most of the Latinos in the other gangs were born in the United States.
