GAGers have you ever been barefoot to your school/job?

Personally i've been once in school when i was like 7-8 yo.

It was raining and my shoes became wet and muddy. when i came into my classroom ( i came late), and my teacher noticed that my shoes were muddy told me to put them out because i messed up the classroom with mud.

I also put out my socks because they were wet as well LOL

Then she asked one of my classmates to go down to the headmaster's and tell him to call my mother to bring me clean socks and shoes... so as a result i ended up barefoot for the whole lesson, till my mother came and brought me clean shoes/socks :-P

LOL it was one of the most embarassing moments in school.

When I was in highschool I often stashed my flip-flops in my locker & walked around barefoot, sometimes I got in trouble for it.

When I was in college I went barefoot to class whenever the weather permitted it.

In the summer I work at a swimming pool teaching swimming lessons & synchrnized swimming, si I'm barefoot there.

That's all we do in school Newell I know girls do if we have flats or flio flops on basically anything that we can easily take on and off but our teachers walk around barefoot and some students do but at our desk yea they are coming off. immediately Lmao and on pajama days we. just wear slippers or socks maybe nothing

Im almost always barefoot at work. Then again i do work on boats so its not all that unusual lol :P

When I was a kid some how I forgot my shoes I thought we were coming back and they said nope Its on to the Wrestling matches we go and I had to go the whole event without shoes I felt so strange and was not use to it

When I was in 1st grade I had an allergy in my feet, I had big band aids all over my feet. I came to school with flip flops. When I arrived to the classroom I took off my flip flops and walked barefoot.

Yes, almost all the time. It's common here in South Africa, at least when I grew up. My parents didn't allow me to wear shoes or socks in summer, so I always went to school barefoot, as did most others in my class.
