People like those who they can relate to.

Is Emma Watson the most beautiful woman in the world? Some argue yes but I think the truth is that people like her because again... people can relate to her struggles and desires and temptations.

That's a legitimate issue. Whether I want to read it or not, it affects your way of life while being popular on a website has no real impact.

It's about how many people you know. If the less pretty girl has a huge family and large social circle she'll get more likes than a pretty girl who doesn't have that many people

It depends on personality too. A really outgoing and nice, but average looking girl will get way more likes than a pretty shy girl, or a pretty but bitchy girl.. you know?

I admire women who don't care about such petty things. I know gorgeous women who aren't popular by any means. They're 100x more beautiful and intelligent than women more popular than them. It doesn't matter in the long run.

They are saying things that other people want to hear, which usually isn't something intelligent. But it's almost always something that you can say whether you are pretty OR ugly.
