Do ugly or average looking girls get more compliments?

after losing about 10 lbs, I've noticed a lot of male attention directed my way (I'm 5'6, 133 lbs currently).

thing is, I'm only getting attention from ugly guys. they compliment me and want my phone number, although I don't want anything to do with them.

I'm wondering, if only ugly guys approach you, does that mean you're average or ugly as well? and is it easier for men to compliment an average looking girl than a pretty one?

I don't consider myself very pretty, but I'm far from ugly.

why do I attract men that I have no interest in whatsoever? They are either married, not of the same race, or just weird/creepy.

How can I start attracting decent normal men?

You're probably average looking. Ugly girls don't get approached, complimented or hit on very much, if at all. Pretty girls will attract all sorts of men (uglies, average guys, and good looking ones). If the only guys that hit on you are ugly you might be average looking. Men are more likely to compliment really good looking girls, but any girl who isn't ugly or plain can get complimented.

If you want to attract better looking guys, step your game up. dress better, try to look better and be more confident around guys you're into. Notice the type of girls they guys you like are into, and then model yourself after that.

I attract all types of guys..Mexican/Hispanic/White/Indian o.o Attractive, not so attractive..I don't think attracting a certain type of guy has to do with their physical appearance in relation to yours. If you're attractive, you're bound to get hit on by any type of guy really.

No. Only girls with bomb ass bodies and/or pretty faces get compliments.

I think:

'Gorgeous' gets a lot of attention, from everyone.

'Pretty' is ignored the most.

'Average' gets some attention, not from the hotties but the averages and the uglies. Because of the approachability.

'Ugly' gets attention by perverts, think they are easy to get laid with.

It's okay to be turned down by someone that is stunningly gorgeous, like it is okay to lust after celebrities. Nobody will laugh at you for liking someone that is way out of your league.

Between 'pretty' and 'average', you have to go out on a limb for a pretty girl and have a chance of really getting hurt. An 'average' girl is much safer.

It's like a casino. You play the very slim chances because you might gain a lot with less on the line. Good chances for safety and hardly ever the skill game

I'm a normal guy and I compliment women who have something interesting, who can catch my mind and eyes and I can assure you that not all those women are pretty ones.
