Do average looking women get more attention than pretty women?

So lately I haven't been looking that great. Holding onto weight from pregnancy, not putting effort into how I dress and not doing my hair. And for some reason I cannot stop getting hit on by men and also getting compliments from women. Its literally to the point that I'm scared to go out alone because men have been creeping on me so hard.

I'm thinking this is happening because I look more average and non threating then I did before when I was better looking.

Is this a common thing that average women get hit on more then pretty women?

It doesn't matter if you are pretty or if you are average but you have to understand is that we are made of energy our planet and everything on it has an energy filled to it 60 ft up into the air surrounding the whole planet we as people have an energy filled around us that goes 15 ft up into the air we put out a frequency it's like a radio station putting out megahertz we do the same thing who you are on the inside how beautiful you are on the inside is part of your energy and it tells everything about you have you ever been in a room and somebody walks in and you say I don't like that guy there's something wrong with him it's because your energy filled felt his and you get that that vibe everything on this planet vibrates It's Just Like Music you listen to it it has a vibration a tone a sound and it makes you feel good or it makes you feel sad that's what happens to each and every single one of us when we're walking around and somebody's staring at us or smiling at us it's they don't know why they don't understand it but that is the reason

I have never seen you but through your. words I know who you are and I bet if I talked to you for about 5 min I could describe you you have a very beautiful heart you're a very good person you do get kind of Moody LOL sometimes but we all do you have good insight you're caring person you say what's on your mind I might as well just do it right now I would say that you're probably about five six kind of dirty dishwater blonde hair you put out a very good Aura and put out a very good energy most guys are attracted to you because it's just your personality and that energy that you put out for some reason I want to say bluish eyes maybe Hazel or something green good I think more Hazel I'm not sure nice smile when you talk you talk with your hands LOL and that's just the vibe that I get off this question but anyway it doesn't matter if you're pretty or average what matters is who you are on the inside because that radiates 15 ft around you every single moment of the day

Well you probably oversensitive about your outward appearance. Yes some things have changed but probably not as drastically as you feared.

Anyway attractive women can sometimes come off as intimidating for men and/or they just assume the girl is already taken. It’s easier it to be more confident around someone who isn’t as intimidating.

I wonder who risks more for hitting on someone who is “out of their league” strictly speaking when it comes to physical looks: men or women.

If a man hits on a girl who is out of his league it can go to two extremes. She might be impressed with his confidence and might give him a chance. But she is also in a position to absolutely destroy him if she doesn’t like him.

Women may have less luck hitting on men out of their league when it comes to looks. At best the guy might be bored and wants a discreet quickie (when nobody is looking). At worst the guy will decline her but society is much more forgiving towards women who hit on men they have no chance with. Highly unlikely she will get publicly humiliated.

Very overweight (obese) women very rarely get hit on by guys. It’s funny in the rare events it does happen some of these big girls will rudely reject the guy just to say “omg this guy was hitting on me. I turned him down because that gives me a deluded sense of pride and power that I’m just as pretty as the skinny girls I’m so jealous of….” The “pride” is more important to them than actually getting a rare chance to make something happen.

I think average looking and highly educated women get more attention than beautiful and equally highly educated women, because men are scared to pursue girls that might leave them for a better looking man so when a woman is average looking, the man might assume her loyalty is higher due to her having less prospects then the very beautiful woman who is equal in intelligence but might be able to attract a higher income bracket of men. There are more average income men then very rich men, so average women might get more proposals then very high income women who are also beautiful.

So why do people even rate people? It's being European that matters to white men. Nothing else counts. Not even skin colour as you can see most of these women are tanned/dark.

Did you look really fake and unnatural in terms of the amount of makeup you have on? It could also be the hormones after pregnancy giving off. I don't know, but I would say average is more beautiful than girls trying to mask themselves by looking better than they truly are. I always say, I want to be impressed how you look over time, not dolled up for a night and be disappointed the next time I see you.

I don’t know if I’d say one gets more then the other, I think women as a whole, if you’re even just a little bit pretty you will get checked out or hit on. It doesn’t even matter if your dressed up or not. I go to Walmart in a messy bun, no makeup, in my PJs and still get approached lol.

That's generally not the case. Attractive women are so exciting to men that they are bound to get a lot of attention. Note that it's even easier to approach an attractive woman in a professional environment.

I rarely ever got attention when I was attractive. Like I said being postpartum and even while I was pregnant I get more attention from guys. It's honestly pretty weird

I think people glance more at beautiful girls, but the attention and the approach section is won by women who are seen to be within the league and friendly looking as well by guys.

I think most men give more attention to average women because they believe they actually got a chance and not scared to talk and hook up with them while when they see a very attractive or pretty they kinda say oh she is out of my league and don't even try to talk to her and don't give her his attention.

Do not forget that you are still the same woman. Likely you are always pretty. Perfect make-up and hairdo can in fact discourage a guy. Without that, you are more approachable, but your attraction is largely the same.

The additional weight from pregnancy will either not be noticed or will be appreciated by most guys. The ideal of a skinny figure is mainly a thing of women themselves.
