It's the same, all humans are visual just they try to create this made up idea that for women's attraction it's not the same.
Let's put some average dude in front of some ladies against Zac efron and see the results if they could pick which they want on looks I think anyone with a brain knows what happens here.

And saying it's the same don't mean all things we perceive is the same not at all. Like you said a man probably wouldn't care a sofa fashion. Or care about having clothes to match certain months like spring colors. Guys of course don't apply to such ideals mostly.
But that's the thing it's a different ideal, and what one focuses on. Not that we are less visual or more so.

Not sure I get the sofa references but as a rule men are more visual when it comes to the woman they chose in life but not as much perhaps with their attire, (Sadly), home decor, and the colors of their wedding tablecloths.

As a general rule more women are probably more prone to focus on small visual details such as interior decoration and color matching than most men. For women - I think their style is a 50/50 split. Some women really put a lot of effort into their appearance but others really think their yoga pants, crocs, and t-shirt are a acceptable wardrobe for date night.

I truly believe that men aren't visual even tho they claim to be. For instance a man can look past a woman's stretch marks, not even notice them but women will notice right away if a man is balding and be turned off by it

That's supposed to be the common logic, but I'm not sure it isn't outdated information. Back in the day when guys looked at girly magazines or went to a porno theater, women stayed home and read "trashy romance novels". Now that internet porn is so available, discrete, and diverse, women seem to be much more open to consuming video porn. I also here less of this stupid argument "I don't like pornography, I like erotica." I wiser than me person once said, "Whatever you masturbate to is your pornography. "

Complicated. I think both men and women value looks in an ideal partner. When it comes to initial attraction, I think women care more about looks: less likely to reject a guy who looks good and who is tall. Men want a decently looking woman because they are more desperate for physical and emotional affection. When it comes to sexual instincts, I think men care about looks more. They are more likely to watch porn while women are more likely to read about it. Long term, I think men are more visual: easier for them to lose attraction because of worse looks. Women are more likely to lose attraction because of a lack of emotional well-being.

Most men are more visual when it comes to sex, but everything else they could care less. That is unless they are an artist, then design will supercede comfort.

As an artist, I want comfort first, then functionality then design, but I'm a different breed.

In general, men and women have different ways of learning and communicating.

Women typically prefer talking or text while men typically prefer the visual.

Best example is asking someone for directions. If you ask a woman, she will give you step by step instructions, while a man will draw a map.

This is why PowerPoint is a good tool for presentations, since it caters to everyone in the audience (male and female), text + visual slides plus the presenter does the talking.
