He really wanted a boy. He grew up with only brothers (he's the youngest of 4 kids) and enjoyed activities with his father and grandfather. He wanted that same connection with a son too. Instead we're having twin daughters. He has no experience of raising a girl, much less raising two girls.
Needless to say he's disappointed. He doesn't know anything about raising a daughter and this really caught him off guard. Will he get over his disappointment? As for me, I'm feeling both happy but sad I couldn't give him the son he really wanted.
