My friend attracts more girls than I do that approach him, but when I attract girls they’re way better looking, why is this?

My closest friend is very outgoing but also gets approached a lot more by women. I want to say about 95% of them are not the most attractive, but he gets the attention. He considers himself an average guy.

On the other hand I get less girls approaching me but when I do they’re way better looking. I get more looks when we go out as well, but no approaching. If we look back at the girls that we both talked to, he has way more girls, but I have way more attractive ones. I rarely approach as well, as he approaches a girl or two every other day.

You look more physically attractive, so less attractive women might feel intimidated to approach you. Usually women aren't the "aggressors" in those situations anyway. Your friend also sounds like he exudes a more confident and welcoming attitude, by the way you describe him
