anyway instrumental music is like, enduringly popular, lmao, what are you talking about. There's like, an enormous market for it. I mean without getting into film scores, video game music, etc. You have classical and a lot of EDM stuff and like, a lot of traditional folk music, like a lot of genres heavily focused on instruments are very popular

Only a few channels i know play instrumentals frequently.

I'm not a fan of instrumental music because there's no lyrics. Lyrics is what speaks to me. In my opinion, lyrics are the most important part of a song. at least for me. Some instrumental music can be enjoyable tho.

Because the majority of people are simple and they don't necessarily care about the music, they just get a tune stuck in their head. Which is easier to achieve if it has words.
