Is 5’6” the worst height for a guy?

Strangely I’ve noticed that most people who complain bout being short here, r bout this height basically….1” more/less.

I hardly remember any guy here under 5’2” complaining bout being short, which is wot I find most surprising…I could understand if somebody was only 5’…. but man 5’6” isn’t so tragic…relax o_O

it's not even short basically... it's just average-2-short range (if 5'9" is average then it's only 3" below)

5'6 is not that short, those guys just probably don't know 100% if they actually are that short or nope so they want confirmation that they're not, whereas guys 5'2 and under know for a fact they're short.. and I actually don't think there are that many guys who are 5'2 and under, they're very rare I think.

@KindInk4 I find it just as annoying when girls complain about their weight (if not more so, since you actually DO have control over that).

For many women, height is just a bonus, like, a cherry on top of an ice cream sundae---the cherry really isn't necessary at all, just an addition. Yeah some women only like tall guys period, which is their right, but many women are fine with a shorter guy.

Actually women have control over their height too, men don't. Women can wear heels to make themselves taller, while it would be considered weird for a man to. I actually prefer her to be taller than me while wearing her heels, but shorter than me, without. I'm 5'8" ish so, it shouldn't be too hard to do that, depending. The problem is, women don't like being taller than the man, ever. It's not fair

I don't know what you're talking about with this whole "women don't like being taller than the man, ever" stuff, though. I'm 5'5 (5'9 with heels on), and have liked guys shorter than me, and guys that I'm the same height/taller than with heels on. I know plenty of very short guys with great game. Confidence and charisma is where its at. Some people could charm the skin off a snake. THAT'S what determines how good with the ladies you are or not. NOT what height you happen to be (not in general, anyway).

I think the reason that most complaining about being short are about 5'6" is because that's about height where guys are first considered short, and yet there a lot of guys of that height. Very few guys are only 5', which is why I think there aren't so many complaining - there just aren't that many of them.

Lol I'm actually 5'6" and I have never complained about that... Why? Because it's something that I didn't choose and I can't change, so why would I waste my time complaining about that? Instead I just accept it and I'm thankful about that.

No. 5'8" is the worst possible height for men. It's both short and "average" (which is shitty and useless in it's own right). 5'8" to 5'11" is the shitty "Manlet Zone." You're short, but not positively short. There are many benefits to being 5'7" and under for a man. It's just that none of them are social benefits. They're things like health, living longer, cheaper clothing, etc. 5'8" to 5'11" is the shitty-ass "I'm short, but another few inches and I'd be tall" zone of uselessness. Literally ZERO fucking benefits in being just "slightly short." 5'6" is definitely short on a man, but unlike 5'10" or 5'11", at least you get non-social benefits from it. Those latter heights are all 100% dogshit and have NO usefulness to them.

@Tigerblood99 - I've had some pretty harsh rejections because of my height but it still doesn't bother me, like water off a duck's back. I've met plenty of women in clubs, many are around my height anyway. Of course it's a disadvantage but its still doable, if you're short you just have to make up for it in other ways e. g. being muscular. I know its hard, I don't care, I just do what it takes to be successful.
