1.6K opinions shared on Other topic. Yes. It's horrible. Most people have it and don't know it. I strangely can't stop looking at it though. I can't stand perfect holes in the human body, even if it's just one.
I just showed this to my mum and she's having a total freak out.

have you felt the symptoms of other people in this thread?
itchy skin (arms, legs, stomach)
headache/light headed
feelings of vomiting
loss of breath
slight stomach ache - Opinion Owner+1 y
No to all except itchy skin. But it's really dry and it might just be itching anyways. Usually medical images don't do anything. I had to look at cadavers in person once, and I got that uneasy feeling but did my job.
- Asker+1 y
whoa cadavers. what is your job? if you don't mind me asking
- Opinion Owner+1 y
I had to do some medical illustrations.
- Asker+1 y
that is intense yo. that's cool. life must NOT be boring in your shoes :P hahaa. damn I crave excitement.
- Opinion Owner+1 y
I was able to dissect eyes and had to lay the pieces out, so I could properly draw them. But I had a medical professional open the stomach so I could draw the liver (since I'm not qualified). I'm usually not squeamish, and can handle most things. I wanted to be a doctor but I honestly couldn't stand vomit.
- Asker+1 y
there are many kinds of doctors though. I guess a surgical doctor would have been the most brutal experience for you, and the fact that it is up to the doctor to try their best to save a life, not always guaranteed :/ if its any constellation, I think your job is wayyy better than doing computer work lol
- Opinion Owner+1 y
I wanted to be a Radiologist actually. I have broken so many bones (accidental of course) since I was little, due to sports. I found x-rays and bones fascinating. Blood doesn't bother me, but there are certain medical phenomenons that make me uncomfortable.
Thank you, I do enjoy my work now. I haven't done medical illustrating in over a year now, though. I do mostly concept art. I like incorporating skeletal structures in the armor or other things I create. - Asker+1 y
one way the bones fascinate me is how they heal together. its interesting. i have never broken a bone in my entire life yet lol. but i have been hit so hard it freakin hurts if i even touch my bone a little.
You're welcome :P it really is refreshing to know that someone is actually enjoying what they do for a living :) im glad someone got their chance. - Opinion Owner+1 y
Right? It's truly amazing. I saw my x-rays and couldn't believe how many breaks I had in such a small area. 6 weeks later, they were mostly healed.
I love it when I actually have work, but the uncertainty of finding the next job can be stressful. Sometimes I wonder if I should find a more stable career. - Asker+1 y
the human body is amazing! I hope we find a way to speed up our healing factor though lol.
stable career? dang sorry to hear about that. I assumed what you do now was a pretty stable one, it sounds legit and professional. the Vulcan in me says its worth sacrificing some happiness to get a job that will better help stabilize your future, but deep deep deep down, I say continue pursuing what truly makes you happy. what other better way is there to live. - Opinion Owner+1 y
Yes, when my doctor told me the second time I broke my arm that I was healing much faster this time, I did feel a bit like Wolverine.
Well, freelancing is tricky. Sometimes there can be a big payout for one job, then you take smaller ones until you can find another. It's not steady, and it can go months without getting another job. Which is what is happening now, actually. I had to take a clerical temp job to help pay some bills and rent, but I might go into medical billing and coding while doing freelance art on the side. - Asker+1 y
and a wolverine reference! who you are! :P hahaa
ahh yes freelancing. I know exactly how that is. the way you have it planned out actually sounds like a really good idea, with the steady medical billing and coding for your main paychecks, and then freelancing as your hobby basically, but it pays out as well. damn that's the dream lol. im trying to get a second job even though I work full time already. - Opinion Owner+1 y
You are actually already following me/I'm following you, and you will know who I am if I go off anon. :P
I have enough in savings to live off of for a bit, but I really don't want to live on the edge like that, it's so stressful. Having some stability would be ok, like part time billing & coding, and work on the art mostly.
Hopefully you can find something you truly enjoy as well! Working two jobs can be difficult, and you don't want a stressful life. Maybe have your regular full time job, then a fun part time one? All work and no play makes Berty Bert a dull boy. - Asker+1 y
gosh its gonna take me forever to filter you out 😂
okay that's good that you're able to stay above the water. it only sucks when we start sinking and can't help it lol. my full time job is sufficient, like my current living style I'm completely fine, and I can support myself but im just in a rush to make more money :/ which is why I want that second job lol. sounds bad but I figure while im young do as much as I can. I enjoy myself over the weekends hahaa, I only wish I could find that dream job that I would wake up happy to go to work, who knows we'll see :)
annnnddd there is the Dwight Schrute reference from the Office :P hahaa. I will find out who you are... ;) - Opinion Owner+1 y
I don't doubt it, with Macklin on the case!
It does suck below the water, which I was a few years ago (that whole "starving, struggling artist" thing). No, I don't think it's bad. Ambition and drive in life is good, as long as you aren't consumed by it. Like you said, you're young and should enjoy life. I hope you can find that dream job. :) - Asker+1 y
bahahaa the only lead I got is you are a girl between the age range of (18-24). guess ima have to start sending awkward PMs to everyone in my list lol.
you know that's a damn good way to put it, as long as a person has drive and ambition in their life. there are people out there who already have everything and they have no drive or ambition, and life couldn't be anything but dull to them. its not even fucking beautiful. I wanna find the right balance. and you come off like a survivor to me! respect yo :P - Opinion Owner+1 y
Ha... it's quite alright! I am not popular on this site by any means, but I've been around since like May. There are just... so many Pink Anons (18-24), that would take you some time.
I have lived in two of the social classes, well technically three for a brief time, and honestly have seen the bad in all. But there can be good, if you have that balance (like you said). Having dreams/ambitions is great, it gives you purpose in life. But just wanting more money and being consumed by that can spiral down. There's nothing wrong with wanting to live comfortably, and to have fun in life (travel, getting a cool car, etc.). Thanks! :) - Asker+1 y
hey, if its been a while just surprise me one day :P lol popular or not, doesn't matter, we are having an actual conversation. that's fucking awesome.
I've only been in 2 of the social classes, growing up was the struggling part, now its more comfortable. I just wanna keep striving though, not to be rich and live even more comfortable, but I wanna get rich and help the homeless. seriously like, a human life is the most valuable asset on this planet, and there are so many whos potential is being wasted, I am gonna change that. so super rich here I come! :P lol - Opinion Owner+1 y
Oh I was trying to narrow it down and help your sleuthing. ;) I agree, I enjoy the conversation, so thank you for that! :)
Growing up I was comfortable but it's when I first branched off and went to art school that it sank. Having no food, hot water, etc. really puts things in to perspective. Now I live very well and don't take anything for granted.
That's great, and a great view. I have done charity work since middle school, I enjoy giving back. If I can't give money, I give my time and effort. I wish you the best of luck with that and hope you are able to achieve it all! :) - Asker+1 y
"sleuthing" 😂😂 hahaa! damn im smiling.
that's good that you're well off now, im glad. and I agree with the whole perspective part, people who never experienced it will simply never understand. look at you girl! charity work at a young age :P another good human being spotted right here lol. and thank you! I, in turn, continually wish you the best on your future journeys. - Opinion Owner+1 y
Thank you, I appreciate it! I'm not going to lie, of course it's better now... like my car died and I was able to buy an upscale 2015 vehicle a few months ago. I notice people treat me differently which is a shame. I'm still me. That's why I do charity walks, habitat for humanity, food drives, toy drives during the holidays and visit nursing homes and children's hospitals. Connecting with someone and making them feel better is a good feeling.
- Asker+1 y
that is so cool! im proud of you. that is actually quite a shame, how we get treated based on our social status.. sometimes it can be so cruel. that's society though, it doesn't phase you, which is why I like you, you don't let it get inside your head, instead you go out on charity walks and habitat for humanity! I haven't even heard of that one. damn you're an awesome human being. im gonna tell that to you face to face through inbox one day hahaa.
- Opinion Owner+1 y
Aww thanks! When I was in ROTC, I was the Kitty Hawk Air Society commander (it's the charity club), so we did a lot. Highway Clean-up, planting trees, helping at the animal shelter, etc. etc. I don't do as much now sadly, but I am going to look at joining my local Altrusa Club (since I was in Astra in school).
I've always been optimistic, and wish more were. Like, on this site (well the internet in general I guess), there is so much negativity. There are definitely some that aren't though, like yourself, which is why I followed you way back when ha. - Asker+1 y
omgee ROTC. are you a jet mechanic? that's like my first guess hahaa. that's awesome though, I was gonna do ROTC right out of high school but then it turned to after college, and now life is taking a bunch of different turns. I think the military is no longer an option for me but my current job is somewhat involved with the U. S. military so im kinda helping there lol. helping the animal shelter sounds really nice, I mean animals! :P lol. the internet is a great place to find the worst in people, its really not the best place to go looking for optimistic people but its not impossible, like you :) okay im definitely keeping my eye open for you hahaa.
- Opinion Owner+1 y
No, not a jet mechanic but I wanted to be a pilot. I even went to NASA on a special ROTC trip and did well in the flight simulation. It was so fun. I was born and raised in the military life and honestly thought I was going to join and become an officer. But life sends you hurdles, and you just need to do the best you can with things thrown at you. That's pretty cool that you are helping out still, so it's civil service?
Yes, the internet lets people be unfiltered and they don't feel consequences for what they say to others most of the time. That's why if I see "trolling" I don't get mad, they're probably just bored or something. But I agree there are some good ones. I had to order something at midnight release, and couldn't see it anywhere online so I went to this forum. The people there were so supportive, kind and helpful, I almost teared up. - Asker+1 y
You went to NASA and did some of the flight simulations? wow that is so cool. see that is so exciting and adventurous, I want a piece of that cake :P born and raised in a military life, hmm... I think I can narrow my search down more hahaa. but I mean damn its hard to choose cause, to me, you're like so damn successful at your age, and I look at the profiles and im like hmm... lol. life definitely does throw obstacles in our way, but life is nothing without those obstacles. I rather have a complicated, busy, and energetic and challenging life than a boring easy one. thanks :D no its not civil services, I work with a defense contract manufacturer that supplies to 2nd and 3rd party corporations that work directly with the U. S. military. the internet trolls don't bother me at all, they don't know me, I don't know them, no reason to hate lol. I like how you almost teared up :P it shows the human in you.
- Opinion Owner+1 y
Yeah, the NASA trip was fun for sure. We had team building exercises, tours, etc. I might take classes and get my private pilot's license some day. I'm not sure if this helps, but I started college at age 16, and graduated when I was 20 with my BFA. I live in SoCal now, but not sure if that narrows it down much since there are quite a few Cali people on here. Indeed, I think life's challenges and even mistakes help shape who you are. I learn from both of those and just try to better myself.
Oh ok, I see. That's still pretty cool. Maybe for the second job, something more fast paced? I have no idea what's available around you, but since you like adventure maybe a hiking/rock climbing guide or something. I don't know. :P
Yeah, some trolls try so hard to get under your skin, but it's like you said... they don't know me. I'm glad my human side shows a bit from time to time. - Asker+1 y
damn, sadly those facts do not help. I mean they totally would have if we talked to each other about it without anon hahaa. seriously congrats on a college degree at 20, that is quite impressive. so im talking to another SoCal GaGer.. I thought I was like the only one lol. im not alone :P oooh girl I think lifes challenges have definitely improved your life, and who you are as a whole *thumbsup*
yeah its not bad, its pretty much career, decent and stable. but I didn't like the idea of having this as like my only thing in life so took it further and invested, I feel better doing multiple things lol. well I'll go hiking for fun, its just all my friends are busy, they either have kids or are still in school or graduated and focusing on their job only lol. its tough, im a loner now but im content, I just want people to do things with lol :P oh yeah the trolls are bluh.. bluh!! lol - Opinion Owner+1 y
Yeah, that's true, sorry. D: You can figure it out though, I believe! Thanks! Dang, I've seen several SoCal peeps on here. You said a [w]hole... sorry, I couldn't resist. :P
I feel you on doing multiple things. I'm going to see if my amateur writing has any substance and try to get published, so I can have another source of income. I'm pushing off administration stable career as much as I can, as you can see haha. I am in the same boat, I just moved out here and don't know anyone. Most of my friends are getting married or already are, so they are busy most of the time. Being alone isn't too bad, it gives you time for self reflection and self improvement. So if you ever meet someone, you already are happy with yourself and can share your happiness with that other person. - Asker+1 y
im gonna go through my entire list but if I can't figure it out ill just talk to you here and ask you straight up lol. hahaa damn I didn't get what you meant, resist what xD
damn you're a writer too. the list continues :P whats your writing style? like what do you like to write about? you JUST moved out here? that is cray. for the most part its a friendly place but don't be fooled! lol. im not gonna ask, i'll just assume you are really down south of California. yeah no kidding, my friends aren't getting married but most of them have kids and its like okay I always feel like the third wheel when we hangout because they all have kids and I don't lol. when I say kids I mean babies, 1-3 years old. and I totally agree with that, that's how I am with relationships, I feel I need to be happy with myself, being single and happy, before entering a relationship so that I don't pull my happiness from my partner, I pull my happiness from me. by the way, do you have a profile pic or default pic? - Opinion Owner+1 y
That'll work, too. No worries, I was just being stupid.:P
I prefer writing horror and fantasy. So far I've only done short stories, not full novels. Well, I moved out here earlier this year, it's been several months. I just haven't done much unpacking so it still feels like I just moved here. I wasn't sure if I'll like it, so I just did a year lease and didn't unpack.
I have a few friends from school that have had babies within the year. I know they are going to be super busy. Exactly what you said is how I see it. I am happy being single, and focusing on me for now. Once I am ready, then I hope I can find a guy that is happy with himself. Earlier this year I dated a guy that had issues, he pursued me and I wasn't interested but tried anyways. It's just unhealthy and hope he works out his stuff.
I uploaded a pic, yes but it's not a pic of me. - Asker+1 y
horror and fantasy, that's a good one. I love horror, scary movies are the best too, but if a book can scare you, the damn! that's a good writer hahaa. you know 1 year isn't really that long, I wouldn't bother unpacking just yet lol. so far the girls I've met are all just too career driven and focused on them there's like almost no point. they all wanna study abroad or go to some university that's like 5 hours away, not very probable. but its cool, im in no rush. enjoying life as it comes at me :P
oh okay that filters out my search by a ton! it helps a lot hahaa. im gonna start looking again. - Opinion Owner+1 y
Yeah, I love horror movies. I'm so excited it's Halloween season, I've been watching horror movies every night this month... well I started on my birthday last month. I don't get scared by movies or books, I just find it interesting. Someone created this world and creatures or experiences, so it fascinates me. I prefer more supernatural ones over slasher or torture, but reading about real life serial killers is super creepy.
I'm not going to unpack. This town is alright, but I might move closer to LA or something if I can afford it. I like the peace and quiet, but it's too far out I think. I hear ya on that, there's no rush honestly. I get the whole "why aren't you in a serious relationship yet?" from family and friends trying to set me up or something, but I don't need to do that right now. I mean, if it happens that's awesome but I'm in no rush either. I'm just chillin'. :P - Asker+1 y
Halloween brings me back to nostalgia lol. I love horror movies, as long as they're good. I mean like those cheesy B-list movies on Netflix really do suck. as long as its horror I can watch it, from slasher to ghosts, spirits, demons, mythical creatures, the blob lol! jeez I hope your town isn't that boring, you'd probably have a blast living in LA. I wanna move there someday, my own apartment in the high rise building :D hahaa yeah all parents are like that, they just really want their freakin grandkids already, its like opening Christmas presents early for them lol. I think it will happen for ya, so far from what I know your resume sounds super freakin ridiculous awesome hahaa. and yet you're just chillin'! see! so freakin cool! lol!
- Opinion Owner+1 y
Yeah, nostalgia big time. I do love horror, but on Halloween day I'll watch Hocus Pocus, Casper, and some other movies that are Halloween themed but not scary. :P I tried watching some of lower ones on Netflix, but I can't ha. Not alone anyways, with friends I can, it's funny then. I'll watch slashers, like Scream or Halloween and I do like those, but I prefer demons, ghosts, vampires, werewolves, creatures, aliens, zombies, witches, etc. etc. I decided this year to dress up and pass out candy, so I got my costume all ready.
Oh it's not too bad, I like the convenience of the shops nearby. But there isn't exactly a whole lot to do. I have to drive almost an hour to get to LA, and there is so much more to do there. Downtown high rise sounds cool! I lived in downtown Atlanta, and while I enjoyed it I really hate the traffic. So I'd walk everywhere and just drive if I need to go further out. - Opinion Owner+1 y
Thankfully my brother's wife is about to have a baby early next year, so I'm off the hook for a bit! BUt thank you, good sir! I see what you did there... chillin' and cool... no? I'll see myself out. :P
- Asker+1 y
oooh I remember hocus pocus, that was a good Disney movie lol. casper is also fun, I remember my favorite scene was when they were eating food hahaa. hey at least you got something to do for Halloween lol. I think im just gonna order in or go to my friends pad and drink. ill hand out candy when I get a girlfriend lol. whats your costume about?
it takes you about an hour to get to LA? are you north, south, or east of LA? ehh im coming off like a creep :P hahaa. you don't have to tell me anything, remember that. ahhh! its like my dream to own an apartment really high in the high rise building or LA or NYC. I think NYC will have the most amazing view but that's east coast lol. I would sooo walk everywhere too! healthier :P - Opinion Owner+1 y
Yeah, I've watched Hocus Pocus every year for Halloween since I was really young. I'm passing out candy this year because I don't have anything to do ha! I'm just going to be a black cat, I got a black body suit, black boots, cat ears, a black lace choker and I'm going to paint my face/do make-up. Super simple but it was cheap. I was going to go as Black Widow but the only one in my size had a huge rip before I could try it on. :( I can't drink alcohol sadly, but I hope you have fun! :)
I'm southeast of LA. I'd like to live closer to the coast and get the fresh sea air. I was actually born in New York, NYC is nice just very busy. It also can get really really hot in summer and super cold in winter. It does indeed have some great views! It is healthier to walk, however if I have to walk miles with my heavy Sprouts bags... I would really rather not haha. I don't think I have the upper body strength for that. - Asker+1 y
I remember watching hocus pocus when I was little I had like the smallest crush on that blonde ditzy witch lol. ooh a black cat, that's gonna be real fun. easy setup too. I feel like Halloween has died more and more each year since I was a kid, I mean either its always been like that and I haven't just noticed or since I don't go trick or treating anymore I think I notice that happening when in reality it isn't. but I used to remember a ton of kids out for Halloween walking the streets, now not so many lol.
southeast of LA, ahh you're away from the beach, more inland. bummer. I love the beaches here. all the way from San Clemente to Venice Beach, its just freakin awesome. PCH is bae lol. at least you're within driving distance, some people wish they could even live within driving distance but they're so far out they have to resort to a "nice community pool", no comparison hahaa. I been watching a lot of HIMYM so NYC is just growing on me. love the buildings. - Asker+1 y
Sprouts! now I see you're a healthy gal :P lol
- Opinion Owner+1 y
Ah yeah Sarah! SJP was pretty in the movie, she did a good job with the character. I lol. I'm not sure how Halloween is here, but I am going to be giving out candy if people come to my house. If not, looks like I'll need to find a place for it all, or give it to someone lol. I actually don't eat candy. I got some pumpkins yesterday and I'm going to paint them to put outside this week.
Yeah sadly away from the beach. I could probably rent a flat on the coast, but it's kind of pricey for such small space. Driving an hour or so isn't too bad, but I'll see. I do want to drive up and down the coast one day, I hear there's great views and nice cafe's etc. along the way. Ah yeah, I see. The architecture in NYC is beautiful and there is a lot to do.
I love Sprouts and yes, I am a healthy gal. :P - Asker+1 y
now I remember it was SJP lol. I should have realized from the way she talks, its unique. well there's bound to be kids in your area trick or eating, and if you're afraid you might have leftover candy, just give away the entire bag before you go inside lol. jackpot for that kid. I like chocolate but I don't ever eat it anymore. painted pumpkins, not carved, now there that is something new to bring to the table lol.
honestly though, living too close to the beach isn't always the best. the salt in the beach breeze corrodes the paint on your car, it chips away at the tiles on the ground, you have to constantly maintain your property and vehicles. but it really is a luxury living at the beach, I was riding PCH yesterday going through San Clemente and I saw some houses that were right freakin on the sand, damn those people have the beach for their backyard. must be as nice as it is therapeutic. oh yes you will definitely enjoy that drive! going up and down PCH. I mean the traffic.. - Asker+1 y
can hold you back a bit, making the experience worse, but that just gives you more time to look at the shops, PCH is filled with private owned businesses and the Laguna Beach area is so unique, its like its own tourist destination. you definitely have to stop and walk there.
- Opinion Owner+1 y
Haha yeah, it's SJP. I do give a decent amount of candy, but I will probably do that (give even more at the end of the night). I draw and paint for a living, so I prefer to paint the pumpkins. My carving skills suck. :P
That is true, excellent points. There are pros and cons... so maybe living inland but within driving distance is best. I just bought my 2015 model car this summer, I don't want stuff to happen to it already. I'd rather spend the money exploring than maintaining. That is great to hear! Thank you for letting me know, I'm excited to check all of that out. :) I was intrigued by LB and Huntington Beach. I'll probably check out as much as I can, though lol. All of the things! - Asker+1 y
I get the feeling that you really want to travel too.
I feel like 1 hour isn't a bad drive at all. that means if you want to go to the beach, then you really have to commit that day to it and go all out, as to where if you only lived 20 minutes away, its like.. meh.. whatevs.. people don't make a special day out of it lol. oh yes your new car! congrats on that. love that new car smell. omgee! HB is freakin SO COOL! LB is like art and culture, HB is just like cool for young people. plus its the location of the most famous Ruby's restaurant where they filmed the ending scene to Taken 2, plus other movies lol. - Opinion Owner+1 y
I've traveled my whole life, honestly it's all I know. I get a bit restless if I haven't traveled (even locally to somewhere new) in a while. Every two - four years I was moving to a new state or country.
That's a good point. If I lived 45-hour+ away, I would definitely plan a day trip and make the most out of it. Thank you! It still has that new car smell ha. Dang, LB is more art and culture? Sold! I definitely need to head out there soon. HB sounds interesting, I just want to check it all out. There's place in downtown LA I still need to check out, so I'm making my way, slowly but surely. :P - Asker+1 y
im deff gonna travel but I wanna do it when I get a girlfriend, I think it would be more fun.
oh yeah LB has art shows and galleries that you can attend. you just have to park, and then go walk the streets. explore all the unique shops. and definitely visit the rooftop lounge, its a nice spot on top of a building where you can lunge around, drink, and eat appetizers all with a beach view and breeze. the shops are very cool though, I saw a lot of interesting artistic things through the windows. and then after all that just take a rest on the shore :P - Opinion Owner+1 y
It is more fun with someone else. I drove cross country with my ex boyfriend once, although he slept most of the trip while I drove lol. I love to drive, so it was ok for me.
That sounds really cool actually. I like to walk around and explore. Sounds like it's pretty chill, so that's good thanks for the tips. :) I'll be sure to have extra money then, if they have really interesting arty things. I heard San Shi Go was a good sushi place, so I'll be checking that one out, too. - Asker+1 y
oh im definitely gonna be the one driving so I can pick the music lol. I mean you know she and I are obviously gonna have the same taste so it won't matter either way ;) hahaa. 😂
you know I never bothered for Sushi at the beach yet but my friends tell me of great places. im sure you'll be able to find more than a few things you'll want to buy, and don't forget to check out The Top of the World while you're there! lol. I think its actually called that on google maps, but its just at the top of the mountain in this residential area where you can look down at the city and see the entire ocean and the sun glimmering on it. - Opinion Owner+1 y
I was about to say... if you have the same taste then it's all good! I like so many different genres, when he put on the music I liked it already ha!
Unfortunately, I can't eat a lot of things. Sushi is one of the few things that doesn't make me sick, but it has to be vegetarian. I sneak in a salmon roll every once in a while, and it's a 50/50 chance of destruction lol. It sucks so much, but not much I can do. That sounds cool, I'll check out Top of the World as well, thanks! I still haven't found an area I want to hike yet, so that'll work lol. - Opinion Owner+1 y
Thank you for the conversation and all the tips! :) Take care. x

im having a hard time pinning you down lol.

There was a question some time ago that showed pictures of triggers for it under something like "What do these pictures make you feel?" I don't remember.
I saw the pictures and was like "ewwww" but other than that I was fine. I'm not really affected by pictures of stuff.11 Reply- Asker+1 y
yeah its just like a "wtf" moment for me lol
- Guru Age: 26 , mho 38%+1 y
I don't fucking understand the trend with this.
1) ask someone if they're trypophobic
2) they don't know what it is
3) you explain it's a fear of irregular patterns of holes
4) you proceed to show them disgusting pictures of people with holes in their skin
5) they say oh yeah I'm definitely trypophobic
OF COURSE EVERYONE IS DISGUSTED BY THAT.
It seems like people are failing to realize that if you're trypophobic you are also scared of things like fucking honeycomb, and termite holes in wood, etc.04 Reply- Asker+1 y
except I didn't show them shit hahaa
- Asker+1 y
damn bro why sour sally today? I don't remember you ever being this much of a crab apple. whats up

- +1 y
Well, it wasn't THAT bad for me, but I sure as hell am gonna have nightmares tonight 😣
- +1 y
Yeah, me too, it feel like shit @missnowhere
@asker I feel the same, my arms, head, chest and stomach just feel like... I don't know XD I feel the need to scratch - Asker+1 y
what I think may help is exposure therapy. im not recommending, im just thinking out loud lol.
- +1 y
Exposure therapy? 😧 FUCK NOOOOO
It's not like I have to see them everyday. 😵 - Asker+1 y
trueeee you won't see it everyday, but it might help make your next encounter less grossy :P
- +1 y
Meh, all that waste of time... not worth it. 😜

I just looked up the definition for trypophobia. First of all, ew to some of those photos I saw. I can only imagine what you showed her, hah. Two, I do not think I have that phobia. I am just grossed out by some examples.
12 Reply- Asker+1 y
the example photos are weird looking, but I can look at them all day and not cringe.
- +1 y
Depends on the photos, haha. Some, I am fine with. Others, not so much.

Lolol, dirty thoughts.24 Reply- Asker+1 y
I don't know how people can be so terrified of a fucking strawberry lol
While you may find trypophobia on the Internet, it isn't an officially recognized phobia and you won't find it in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
15 Reply- Asker+1 y
that makes sense, I just want to understand WHY people feel the way they do when they see images like that.
- Asker+1 y
its not just gross images though. my cousin says she has trypophobia and she couldn't watch the movie Holes with me. like seriously, the Disney movie Holes. the moment she saw all the holes from an aerial view she shut her eyes and complained.
- +1 y
A medical phobia has a specific set of requirements for it to be a legitimate phobia. Just because it makes you unconformable, doesn’t make it a phobia. I suspect your cousin is "self diagnosing", just like a lot of people do. The medical community dose not recognize trypophobia as a legitimate diagnose. She probably as other issues.
- Asker+1 y
about the phobia part, lets ignore that since you say its not technical yet, im just more interested in the part where she is grossed out by holes itself, I would assume she went through some kind of negative/traumatizing experience to get this way but no it just is what it is, which doesn't make sense lol.
- Master Age: 32 , mho 44%+1 y
I'm not
Only type of hole that disturbs me is when a person has a hole through their body and you can see their organs, veins, etc.24 Reply- Asker+1 y
oh, like a deeper flesh wound. that's nasty lol
- +1 y
Yep and I hope i never have to see that in real life.
- Asker+1 y
I got kinda close to that point.. it was gross even for myself. I cut my finger on my bicycle and the wound was deep, I could clearly see some layer of tissue.
- +1 y
ouch! :(
TO ALL OF YOU WHO POST THAT SHIT IN YOU OPINION, DON'T.
Please don't, for the love of god. It makes people with trypophobia EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and we just want to read what other people think without seeing that stuff.11 Reply- Asker+1 y
yeah they totally fucked my post bahahaa
- Yoda Age: 23+1 y
I'm not afraid of the holes but there is some naaastaaay pics of people with infections or whatever & that just looks gross.

springroll HAHAA - Asker+1 y
don't worry bro I have headgear on :P it makes it better cause im experiencing the blow and constantly getting rid of bad habits, so next time I'll move my head out of the way more and continue blocking lol. reflexes and not flinching.
pringrolllll the hell hahaa. you fucking mango shit 😂 - Asker+1 y
okay fine little tofu. you are little tofu. now get me some more tofu sticks little tofu :P
d00d its just fun, but fucking really works you. I never been more exhausted within 30 minutes of an activity in my life lol. - Asker+1 y
hahaa it is HIIT d00d! its fucking intense, my instructor is brutal, every time we go he hits harder and faster and im just like fuck fuck fuck shit fuck oh fuck shit fuck oh fuck shit me fuck.
im constantly breathing between contact hits and blocks and still getting winded, I mean he is too, but its really good shit. also, working with him improved myself a lot. when I spar with the regular classmates im faster than them, I can think my combos and performer them quicker, and they get winded that they have no choice but to keep blocking because they can't think, im 2 steps ahead of them the entire time. jab-cross-jab-body cross-jab-kidney shot-left hook-body cross-jab-right hook-jab jab-body cross-right hook-body cross-kidney shot-jab jab-kidney shot-left hook, at this point they're not even focusing on their legs and I just kick their legs in between all day and they're just totally shut down against the wall, its awesome lol. - Asker+1 y
hey we're all sparring here, its all good. im only going 50%! but even at 50% the impact on the temple or nose will be uncomfortable lol. im only helping them get better, which is why I go fast. the bigger guys are lucky I only go 50%, I let them hit me harder, I don't give a fuck, I can take it. but if I went just as hard as they did, fuck I'll get in trouble for being too aggressive probably. im like smiling the entire time though hahaa.
I was never trypophobic until these terrible people used photoshop to make lotus seed pods and honeycombs look like horrible skin infections.
11 Reply- Asker+1 y
i think the "skin infection" part is the only thing that makes it all cringe-worthy.
Not in the slightest. Odd numbers (apart from 5) annoy me, but I can deal.
