HELL YEAH! I love how lightning looks at night especially. What really amazes me is how powerful thunder and/or lightning can be. I just looked it up, but a bolt of lightning can contain up to ONE BILLION VOLTS!!! We can't even generate close to that by any man made means, and a cloud or air particles can generate that much static electricity. That's a serious practical joke! Also, I remember I was cycling home from getting caught in a down pour which was a result of a fast moving thunder storm. After we got in, we noticed how soon each thunder crack was getting and how close. Then next one was SOOOO heavy and loud that it shook some cars on the street and set their car alarms off. I was like HOLY HELL!!! But it sent a rush up my body like, "DO IT AGAIN, DO IT AGAIN!!!".

But, yeah, everything (except for the casualties from lightning strikes) is awe inspiring.

Yes and you can't forget the rain! I just love a good severe thunderstorm. Watching the trees sway in the wind, watching the lighting striking down from the sky, and hearing it's after affect once the thunder hits.

For some reason it soothes me and makes me feel at peace. I can't help but look out the window and cut on some tunes that match the mood 😊

Yes! During the last thunderstorm I was in, I just lied in my bed and listened to the thunder. I am a pluviophile or a lover of the rain.

Yesss! When I lived in China the thunderstorms were mad crazy during the summers. And I loved sitting by the window and watching lightning coming down the park in front of our building literally every half minute. It was crazy. So easy to take pictures of it too ahah 😍🌩🌩 gonna miss it sooo much

Ooh I find lightning and thunder really fascinating actually. If I have time and I'm not distracted on something, I sometimes go out and just look at the lightning. Something about it is, I don't know, mesmerizing.
