How to not automatically load snapchat stories while using wifi?

Well i just made a snapchat and i already did the travel mode for my data usage... the thing is my wifi is slow and when i get on snapchat it be loading for a long time automatically, so is there anyway i can stop this? because to be honest it will take forever... so is there a way to like use wifi and tap on the stories and let them load just like travel mode?
