Riddle: what kind of table can you eat?

Depends how much money I'm offered. I'd eat a coffee table for $500, but a full on dinner table would have to be $1000. And no glass. Glass is off the menu.

I was thinking of a computer tablet but then I thought wait you can't eat that. Suddenly I thought of doctor Mario and the pills he shoots are tablets as well. That thinking tho :p

salt is salt whether or not it's on a table. Or is there actually a difference between salt and table salt? Similarly with sugar.

there is an actual difference. They are many salts and many sugars and saying table with it is common to signify the sugar and salt you put on your food.
