Girls, would you date a guy who can't drive?

I'm asking this on behalf of someone I know who doesn't have his license. He doesn't have a health condition which prevents him from driving - he just is too afraid to go for his license. He's a nice guy and all, and he really wants a girlfriend, but his lack of a driver's license is still there.

So...what about it, ladies? Would you ever consider a guy who couldn't drive for a boyfriend?

i am the one that drove my boyfriend around but because he didn't have a car, and I do. he had a license and whenever he had a car available he drove, which was rare. I don't really care who drives, but I don't understand what he's afraid of?

i wouldn't base my decision on the fact that he wouldn't be driving me around, but on the fact that he's afraid to go for his license. I'm just confused.

My boyfriend doesn't drive. Its not really something I look for in a partner as long as they treat you well driving shouldn't really matter.

If it makes it any more relevant to the age group his brother is 24 and has only just learnt to drive, but has never had any trouble getting a girlfriend =)
