Would you date someone who didn't drive?

I admit I have a bit of prejudice in dating someone who doesn't drive - I can respect someone getting by public transport or other methods - biking, etc. but it happened in the past that some girl used me as free taxi.

And although I like driving, I don't want to be the one doing all the driving - this weekend my friend and I had a 400km drive to her vacation house and although she's a beginner driver, I drove us out up to Parma, then switched with her. She was a bit nervous but she did well on the highway too.

It depends on the situation really if someone is a great person but doesn’t drive I could probably look past that. But there are people too looking to use someone people who drive can also do that though.

It depends why they couldn't drive. If they have an injury or condition that doesn't allow them to drive I'd consider it. But if they aren't driving because they just don't want to or maybe due to a suspended license then no I would not want to date them.

Just because of where I live, I would say no. I did it for awhile, and found that I was just acting as a cab service. I live in the outskirts of the city, where transit isn't really a thing. So driving is unfortunately a must.

There isn't any need to drive in cities I know of, it's even really cumbersome to attempt to drive, so the question isn't relevant in my case lol

Only if she lived close to my house, I don't want to spend all my spare time driving. Public transportation here in Southern California is kind of shitty. You need a car if you want to get anywhere in a timely fashion.

Would I date someone who doesn't? Probably not because they would be too dependent on me.

I don't drive; I can't deal with the sensory overload. I do take Uber, and that's how I get around. My girlfriend can't drive at all; she doesn't have depth perception. We make do with what we can and can't do.
