The lock and key theory was dreamt up in Liverpool, England by an un-named genius. It states that a guy is like a key, and a girl is like a lock. A key that opens many locks is a master key, yet a lock that is opened by many keys is a shitty lock. This theory is rarely favoured by females... for some reason.

The lock and key theory is most suitably used to shut a girl up that complains about male sexual promiscuity being praised by peers, while that of a female is frowned upon.

I consider this simile to be fundamentally flawed. The comparison between a woman and a lock (and a man and a key) only works in the first place if you assume all those patriarchic macho ideas and ideals as a given truth. Thus, you're basically begging the question (logical fallacy) because you include the conclusion of the simile in its premise. Objectively speaking, there is no logical connection between a woman and a lock. You might as well say the woman is the key and the man is the lock and suddenly, things look very different.

Of course not. This is just yet another stupid logical fallacy called the post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy. You're randomly assuming a correlation (and thus a causation) where there isn't any. Just because one specific aspect of one set of things reminds you of a completely different set of things doesn't mean they have anything to do with one another.
