+1 yIt's just media bs for making overweight girls feel better about their bodies.
I'm not saying overweight girls shouldn't feel good in their skin, but they shouldn't bitch about "real women have curves" either.
*What they call "curves" would go away if they were to lose the excess weight, like 95% of times.*20 Reply

Are you like one of the first two or something? That's the only way you wouldn't have any curves.
Personally myself I think hourglass is the prime body shape for women, but. That's just my own opinion.01 Reply

First women are supposed to be sticks then women are supposed to be curvy but I say that society needs to stop telling people in general what to think. Self love is what's more important. If we all just loved ourselves and eachother wouldn't we ALL be happier.

+1 yAll women have curves, even slender/slim girls. The "real women have curves" line is used by fat girls to feel better about themselves. It's all part of Political Correctness and coming up with labels or adjectives that make people feel better about themselves. So instead of "fat" the new word is "curvy."

Curvy = shape not dress size. Slim and curvy, average frame, toned and curvy, or obese with curves in all the wrong places.

Thank you for MH Guy opinion!
+1 yThese are just referring to fat women, and it's created by fat women. It's a way for them to feel better, just ignore them, in the end, you'll be the one getting guys, while they'll be the ones getting tissues to clean their tears.

I hate how severely overweight womem think they have curves. PSA Curves = Hips big - waist smaller - bust big to create a curve. If you belly looks like you're about to givs birth to fat albert, you don't have curves. Anyways regardless of shape your chromosomes still say XX right?

+1 yI don't condone body shaming at all. That's just stupidity when people claim that real women have curves. If a woman is naturally skinny it doesn't make her less of a woman than what a curvy woman is. I just wish I that all of this fat and skinny hating would stop. Its getting monotonous.

+1 yI've never understood that saying, either. If you aren't curvalicious you're fake, then? None of us got to select our preferred body type or build. And we're all very real.

+1 yThey're women and those who say they aren't are idiots. Putting down one body shape in order to raise up another is always going to be stupid, no matter which way round it is.

+1 y" 'Real' women have curves" - false
" 'Attractive' women have curves" - true16 Reply- +1 y
First of all, I have no idea what you look like.
Second of all, you are only 15, so you are most likely not fully developed yet.
Thirdly, you can get a good idea of what you will look like, by finding a middle ground between your mom, and any aunts you might have on your dad's side.
Fourthly, even if you don't have objectively large hips and breasts, you can make them appear large in comparison to your waist if you slim it down as much as possible. - +1 y
Luckily for you, there is no apple shape. When someone's waist is wider than their hips, it is simply because they have a lot of belly fat. If you burn the fat, and slim down your waist, you will most likely be a pear like your mom used to be.
- +1 y
No matter how narrow your hips are, you can fix it by making your waist even narrower.
Having an attractive body is not about size, it is about proportion.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI hate when people say that lol. It's basically skinny shaming most of the time and it's just as stupid. I will never understand why some women have to insult how each other look just because to make themselves feel better about their own shape.

You're fifteen. You're not a woman- you're still very much a young girl. And by the way, I may be half-black, but ladies with huge, fat-laden asses don't do anything for me except turn me off. I find slim girls far more attractive than the ones who call themselves 'curvy' (i. e, obese).
- +1 y
@SinghSong Yeah, since she is under eighteen but biologically, she is.
- +1 y
@helloitsmethere Well, not quite. Even nowadays, she'd have to be pretty unlucky to have already become a post-pubescent, biological 'woman' by the tender age of 15- though not unheard of. The average age when you'd be able to say that nowadays would be at the age of 16-17.
- +1 y
Aw, never mind. Like I said though, if you look at what the guys have to say, and the vast majority of them prefer slender girls to those 'curvy' ones anyway. And if it's how you're viewed by the other girls and women that matters to you, just know that they're only saying that to you because they're envious of you, and because they want to erode your self-belief to make themselves feel more secure about their own figures. Don't give what those girls have to say a second thought- be comfortable with who you are, and be glad for the figure you were gifted with.
- +1 y
@SinghSong Nowadays, I have seen some girls stop growing by the age of 14...
Hopefully I'm not done growing yet.. I hope. - +1 y
@helloitsmethere Well, the average age at which girls reach full maturity is still falling at a rate of over 3.6 months per decade, and has been falling increasingly faster for the past 200 years now, so that's hardly surprising- no more surprising than it would have been for a girl to stop growing at the age of 16 back in the 1950's.
- +1 y
@SinghSong That's true, because my mom said she started puberty at 12 meanwhile my sister and I started puberty at 10.
