What do the numbers on a gear shift mean?

432- shifting to lower gears when you're going down hill, uphill or towing something. It doesn't put too much pressure on the engine and it sits comfortably when it's in lower gears.

Well, according to urban dictionary PRD = pre race dump.

So adding the context of 4 3 2, seems like a countdown to a never completed pre race dump. A quick web search turns up metamucil as a possible solution to the problem.

4-3-2 are the lower Drive gears. Used for going uphill, downhill, or towing.
