My rent per year is around 4100 dollars. I have no kids, pretty cheap pets, inexpensive taste. If I made 50k, that'd be 45k I can do anything with. So, considering I payed off my student debt in year 1, I'd have 45k every year to do whatever with. I'd be well to do af.

A well to do person in my state typically makes about 60k, but they have much more responsibilities ex) house, kids, car payments, trips, expensive TVs and cable.

So, dudeeee, 50k would have 22 yr old me set.

It really depends on how people spend it. I find that a lot of well off people do not have much to show from it.

I may be biased by the fact the average house in my city is well over 1M. In fact the average house in the 'city' and near suburbs is over 1.5M and the deep suburbs have now cleared 1M
