It’s been my live long dream to become rich one day. To be free and buy everything I want without a care in the world.
I’ve got a good partner who is there already so hopefully I can be a stay at home mom and enjoy the luxuries

Certainly over 400k , I had a few years at 350k plus ( and surrounds ) AUD , but performance based , so not like I wrote that 20 years in a row , I certainly did not feel rich , taxation is high in Australia , and even one time got hit with " flood levi tax " $4.5k , tried to avoid taxation as best I could and really invested hard..
You certainly need to be 400k plus , and hopefully around a mill , have a couple of mates on 460 ish , business creators.
Nice to meet you here I'm registering this platform for the first time I don't know how to say hello Thanks,
For how long? If you're say a professional athlete you may only earn that much for 3-4 years or less. If you're a physician you may be making a lot for 30 years or more, but you probably started later and may have loan debt initially. Also depends on where you live; you're probably sitting pretty making 150K in Alabama, but in the SF Bay Area you'll be in a studio apt. with that.
Heh... rich. Don't be fooled, I do plan on being rich ($36,000 a month is what I'm looking at) but I'm also learning money is good but just keeping all to myself gets definitely... more sour than I can handle.
Well, i ain't spilling all because as many things people don't do normally, someone's gonna find my identity and I might get treated like a celebrity; gonna hate it. Anywho so one would be investing in some stocks, opening up some businesses that people need... like... gas? And then see where it goes from there
For you to live within your means. It doesn’t matter how much you make. If you spend more than you make, you’re in the same boat as someone who makes minimum wage or worse
Best answer. You can certainly be rich at $100K and buy whatever you want, as long as what you want doesn't include your own private islands, yachts, living at resorts and wearing $20K dollar designer dresses. If you want your own private jet and multiple vacation homes, earning only $2M/ year won't cut it.
@zeitgeist057 thanks 😊

It's not simply a case of "earn" - as you can quickly lose it when you lose your job.
Being "rich" is more about what you have, and accrue. I class as "rich," but also stand to inherit multi millions.
Hard to say, what with the likelihood of hyper inflation and all, and USD soon having a competitor, the BRICCS currency.
Who says you need to earn anything? Wealth isn’t the same thing as income.
You can earn much less than that and still be rich... in an emotional way.
Depends where you want to be rich. There is always someone who is richer than you.
To me, rich means living comfortably without working. So you need unearned income from investments.
$250k in most areas should do it
Big cities are probably more like $500-600k
Some neighbourhoods are probably 7 figures
Annually in the general population, it would take much more to be rich on the red carpet or down the lodge
What’s with the pink account dude, we know who this is.
how do you know? I've always wondered this about people calling others out. Got IP tracking or something?
@zeitgeist057 Been around here a long time, you get an eye for the catfish, spammers and trolls. Especially the repeat offenders
depends on ur monthly bills.
are u rich if ur bankrupt?
Probably $500,000 a year but you’ll lose a lot in taxes so maybe more

No set amount. Being wealthy, to me, is having more passive income than all expenses.
Earning isn't an accurate measurement of wealth. Net worth is! And I'd say "rich" STARTS at a net worth of 1.2 million.
Where I live, 400K is low average unfortunately
key word earn, so no passive here, can't speak from experience but maybe Ryan Moran can
All the money in the world doesn't health or happiness. Don't believe me? Read the news/tabloids
There is NO guarantee of being rich AND healthy OR happy. Ultimately, Happiness is The ONLY objective! It doesn't matter if you're rich or not, if you're NOT happy. If you're NOT healthy, then you CAN'T BE happy!
There are LOTS of people who are NOT rich and they are happy. I know people who are rich and still miserable.
Above poverty line
Ok, if you say so. All I want is My Health and Happiness
Nope
Rich is a relative term. One person's rich is another's poor.
300k would be semi rich, but 7 figures a year is the minimum to be rich
But 300k for a 30 year old is very rich.
7 figures is when no one can tell you you aren't rich
And you're right 300k at 30 is rich
wealthy 150k
proper rich 250k
250k but I feel like even 150k is wow 😳
I think 250K would be enough.
Around $400,000 per year
It also depends on your expenses.
Minimum 300,000 do you want to be rich
She said rich not wealthy 😂😂
at least 400k to 500k a month
Probs £200k a year
