Would you ever consider picking up a hitchhiker?

I know i wouldn't because of the dangers but i'm guessing there's some people out there who would still do it?

I live in Botswana Africa and one day we left the front gate open and we were in the sitting room watching T. V when I heard something outside and when I looked outside of the window I see these two white people. I immediately alerted my father and we went outside to speak with these people. It turned out that they were a couple from France and had been hiking through Africa and needed a place to sleep for the night and they were on a low budget so my dad and I took them to a local campsite but they couldn't afford the price so we let them camp in our yard and use our bathroom and then we dropped them off the next day in town and that was it.

That Cedric movie The Johnson family sums it up pretty good. A man would not pickup a nun standing by the side of the road because she might be a serial killer. But he would pick up a sexy woman. Us men can be very dumb. I would pick up an elderly lady with a bunch of groceries but outside of that I'm way too paranoid, I guess.

No. It's unfortunate since I do feel bad when I see people hitchhiking and I want to help but, there are just too many crazy people in this world. Therefore, I would never let a stranger in my car since you just don't know what could happen.

Nah, I like living. My dad would do it, pick up and asked to be picked up and my mom hated it. I wouldn't pick up people or ask to be picked up. It's a crazy world.

She might also be a latter-day version of serial killer Aileen Wuornos.
I would also be looking for her psycho meth-addict boyfriend, who would be hiding just out of sight and rush the car as soon as it stopped.

Usually it's not even a possibility. The passenger side of my vehicles tend to be so full of crap that no one could ride without some serious effort. But if someone was really in trouble, yes. I have to admit it would help if they were a cute female, but not saying that's right.

I never come across a hitchhiker tho, maybe I would. Depends on different things.
I had a guy come up to me years ago and asked me for a ride in the direction I was going right before I got in my car, so I gave him a ride and nothing happened.

I pick up hitchhikers every chance I get (which isn't often in a rural area). Leads to interesting conversations with people of all walks of life. However I am 6'4 and have knives and a hammer in my car so don't feel threatened.
