I've been told my accent is both sexy and disgusting depending on which gender I ask. I'd rather not taint the question by revealing it here. But if you had to pick What's the ABSOLUTE WORST accent to have in the World?

I have a Southern US accent myself.

Various non-native speakers speaking English can sound horrible, whereas others sound nice. German accent in English is a good example of a bad one, whereas a French accent is a good one.

In terms of native English-speakers, the ones that grate on my ear are from London, and SE England. I also don't like the ones from the NE United States much, either.

I think it's the southern accent, the way Jeff Sessions talk. It feels like they drag the words and slowly kill the language plus they all sound so illiterate in a way. Although Jeff is an educated person obviously but he sounds so dumb lol.. sorry if anyone has that accent you probably sound lovely to someone.

Southern accent (American ). Also Bronx accent. That's from New York in USA also, very speech impediment-sounding. I don't like those Minnesotans accents either (oh fer shurr, you betcha!) I have a California accent. I speak English properly. I enunciate. People can understand me.

I find all of them interesting. So I don't consider any of them "the worst". Some are funny. I'm from the southern USA. So we are used to being (badly) impersonated and made fun of.

The thing is, we can laugh out ourselves. Many people can't. :)

British accents can be so smooth. Gosh, it's great, some are horrible. Oh my god, I love Adele but her voice... like listening to rocks fall down a flight of stairs.
I think male German accents are a tad feminine and I don't like feminine male voices.

Southern accent. If you look at jobs on tv, you cannot be in broadcasting with a southern accent unless you do local weather or sports. The public basically thinks that a southern accent makes a person sound stupid (not the case, but the research has been done long ago)
