I've been thinking about this and the answer is yes, there just ain't enough anime around. Time to change that, post some (Borderline NSFW/Pantyshot/F. S./whatever you want) pictures.

I don't want to get banned for this. But glad to see, that AMD steps up to NVidia also. There may come a time where I will see a massive price drop on the godlike GTX 1080.
Even better if new GPUs come out. They keep upgrading until it's worth switching from my GTX 670. I need those high end GPU's to render my virtual reality hentai porn.

I got the GTX 670 somewhere around 2013. It was literally the last model in the shop. Then it was discontinued. I like it. It performs very good even at 2560x1440 and 90 fps on modern shooters. That's good enough to render some good animated hentai, although no virtual reality support.
my display pic is not anime technically since it's from a card game, and not an animation (although in the west we would consider it to be in 'anime style')

Depends what you like to see. The one I mentioned is my favourite.
If you enjoy anime that makes you cry. Try Clannad and it's afterstory. If you enjoy mystery/horror/action, try Blood-C, Shiki, Gyo, or Higurashi/Umineko. If you just prefer action and fighting, "Terra Formars" may be for you.. But given your name on here, you may like gun anime, such as "Requiem for the phantom" "Jormungand" or "Black lagoon"

@DooMguy Sorry to disappoint, man... But even though I'm into anime, I'm not that into anime to the point I know what a Waifu is. Obviously I googled it, but I don't think I have one anyway.

As much as I like anime, I avoid the overly sexualised or perverted stuff like the plague. Nothing in that category has ever had a decent plot or been good at dispelling my sense of disbelief.

Well I can't argue with that, I've never watched death note myself though. Sure some anime is for mainstream casuals but you have to go off the track for others
I think you're kind of coming into anime too late for a lot of the very popular stuff. Death note is aimed at 13-16 year olds. Some adults who like cartoons will still enjoy it, but for the most part yr the wrong age group... Cowboy Bebop is aimed at adults, conversely. And Cowboy Bebop rules :P I never saw black lagoon... You should look at other anime for mature audiences. You'd like Perfect Blue, the film, I think, as well as Paranoia Agent, the show by the same director.
@Laura_Marx It's never too late, he's coming around, eventually he'll realize that anime is the thing that dreams are made of. Also I'd add 'Only Yesterday' to the watch list
