I was changing in the room and i forgot to lock the door. My dad asked something and i was still fully naked.😣 He just went out as if nothing happened, but i feel so ashamed. Im just being paranoid right?😰😣😳

It's a bit of a surprise for me to see how this is so embarassing for all of you. Not sure if it's a cultural thing (I'm from PT) but both my parents have seen me naked since I was born, and I have seen them naked too, and the same wih my older sister. For us is perfectly fine to walk in to the bathroom when someone else is showering. If the door is closed just knock first, I guess. We don't even pay that much attention to it.
You have a body, it's simple as that. And just like was said on previous comments, they're family, your own blood. So I understand that ir might be weird for you, but there's nothing to be ashamed of on being seen naked by your closest family.

Well.. When I was a teenager, One of my brother came in my room when I was changing my clothes. (he wanted to ask me to join him and my parents for lunch) He quickly looked away and left. My face was turned red but I acted like nothing happened. He did the same. I got dressed went to talk to him, I stopped feeling awkward after few minutes.. 😅
Since then, I always made sure that I locked my door.

But my point is it's awkward only if you make it awkward. Just forget about it, 🙂

He went out as if nothing happened because It a far bigger deal to you than to him :) don't worry about it, he's seen it all before. As for locking your door, I dont let my kids have locks on their doors and I don't have on on my door it's not healthy to have that in a household.

News flash : Your dad saw you naked more times then you remember. Its entirely normal for parents to see there child naked when for example changing there diaper, helping them get dressed and other activities children are not very good at. Yes since puberty we see it as a violation of privacy and parents generall respect that, but its nothing to be ashamed off towards your dad. Most parents will just look away and continue there day without thinking to much off it apart from finding it just as awkward as you.

I guess it depends on the relationship you both have cultivated with each other over the years. I still hug my Mum everytime I see and give her a big kiss on her chick. I still receive lots of life advice from her. We're super close, so it might not really be a big deal for me.

I have grown up with my parents who are both doctors. We see each other naked without any issue. In fact, I don't feel like there should be an issue if we saw anyone in public naked. Everyone is all human, we all have the same type of bodies so I don't see why we should be concerned about being afraid or shy about it. That feeling is just culturally or socially created. But people have already forgotten how to look at the actual logic.
