I voted no, because I don't get how it is rude? The driver is supposed to watch the road, so they can't even see you making out, and there is no one else in the car, so who would it bother? I think I have the right to be kissing my boyfriend where ever I want, because we know how to do it classy enough for public spaces. We're not licking each other's faces off.

Now, obviously I have different take on "making out" than a lot of others who have answered, because I even read a comment about amateur porn? To me, making out means kissing, plain and simple. It doesn't mean groping, or petting, it means kissing. Which I think is okay in about every situation.

I only stated "to watch the road" which covers both front and back view. At least when I'm driving, I don't see people on the back seat when I look in the rearview mirror, or the side mirrors. I don't know what I should be careful about.

You're revealing a part of your private life in public. You might be triggering bad memories in the driver's head. Or simply the person could just have a lot more traditional/religious values that are different than yours, which is why some people can take it as rude.

Not making out in the car won't kill ya. You never know what's going on in people's minds and what they go through. Have some empathy and avoid making out around people, or in this case, taxi or uber.

Maybe not rude per say but I think that couple's should behave in a more respectful way. I've never been a fan of PDA, and have kissed my husband in public but it was a quick pop kiss bye, never have nor will I make out or such in public, a cab, etc.
There is a place for a make out session and it's called your house!
