How heavy is too heavy fora girl to sit on your lap?

I'm like 165 lbs and my boyfriend is more less the same, and I sit on his lap all the time. He always tells me that legs are stronger than I thought, so as long as I don't sit on his lap for too long till his legs fall asleep, he's fine. He could even lift me quite effortlessly (not sideways in his arm like princess but like lifting a kid).

Men are strong, trust em.

Me? I am about 5' 6.75" & 163 - 165 lbs. My wife was about 130 lbs. No problem.

After divorce, had a girlfriend "more than 180 lbs" and she was quite heavy, but could still sit on my lap. Just don't get hip bones directly on top of leg bones; the softer tissues spread the pressure out over a larger area.

6 feet and about 220. I'm a bull of a man I've never met the woman I couldn't throw about like she was a kid. My last girlfriend was 5 10 and heavier than you and used to sit in my lap all the time and lie back on me for ages. You'll never hear me complain about a woman sitting on me

Men are a lot stronger then you might think. At 150 most men could lift you so lap sitting should be fine

150 is nothing though as a weight for a small woman that is a bit above average. that being said most guys will be fine up to a few hundred pounds. I have rested a 1500 lb boat trailer on my legs while trying to get the rest in place. the total weight sitting on my legs was probably around 500 lbs or so difficult to say exactly how much but you get the point

It depends on the weight of the person you are sitting on. And HOW you sit. Legs are so much stronger than you think and most of the weight gets distributed to the thing the other person is sitting on. If their feet are planted and they are on a chair its less discomfort than them laying flat on the floor for example. But 150 is very light

150 isn't far from the average guy... average guys weight around 140-170 lol... and higher value is usually ripped guys...

so that puts it in a little bit of perspective...

It doesn't matter to be honest. Being heavy doesn't matter when you like the person. It's just about the intimacy and closeness of having them sit in your lap. I dated a girl bigger than me and she would always sit in my lap

That wouldn't be a problem in terms of crushing me, but to be honest 150 lbs on a 5'1" frame is most certainly obese. You would be better off if you worked on improving your diet and exercising.
