I am guessing in a metaphorical sense, "those who have passes through hell, don't talk about it, become tough by it and continue to face more heat through it die with wisdom". You'll only become wise through time but nobody really escape hell (metaphorically) so I disagree with that. Once you're alive there is always changes, just like a heartbeat there is ups and down and a plateau phase
