I don't disrespect them, but I have no respect for them. It's wrong to sell your body for money, dancing for money, being eye candy for money. There are another ways to get money. Then later on in life when they change and don't do that anymore. they get a job, and they realize their boss is a man they gave a lap dance for years ago. Then the boss is gonna start expecting you to give him free shows, even though you change. Strippers just aren't respected. Plus it's nasty, most strippers have went home with few guys... all for money. This was a dumb question to ask. There is no such thing as " Well respected Strippers". You don't earn respect from sliding down a pole, doing tricks half naked, get money tossed at you like dogs, and everyone respects you.
I hope you aren't thinking about becoming a stripper?

I have so low respect for them because well do you want people to look at your body this or that
Honestly people who do stripping are stupid you are more likely to have guys and girls take videos and or pics of your body while doing your job and not only that but say you walk out going to your car... Or walking somewhere then a guy approacbutyou either kidnapped you with other people in his car or just ask u for a ride then something bad happens like rape etc
I mean yes guys can approach someone anywhere but it can also happen at a strip club to
I hope u think what I am trying to say to u
I used to strip, found a lot of my strength and womanhood there. It depends on how they carry themselves because I was a well respected stripper that men wanted to marry but I didn't go there for that.
Made my money and left, I'm glad that I never condemned it even before I knew I would end up there, I used to condemn prostitutes which I don't anymore. But I had always thought strippers were cool, I just said I would have never done it, but life is full of surprises.
I was one for couple years. Nothing bad happen to me
Stripping puts you in with a whole different group of people, from the bar workers to the clientele. Most strippers get caught up in their different lifestyle and the loose sex, drugs, crimes, etc are bad. Not all strippers do that, but many do and the stigma attaches to all.
I have high respect for them. I know it takes a lot of courage to do what they do. My sister is a stripper and I'm proud of her

Because of sexism. Men are allowed to profit off of their bodies (by doing things like moving furniture) but women aren't.
Mostly I think it's based in jealous. Jealous of their looks, jealous that they can earn a wage without doing any "real work", jealous of the attention they get.
well it's a job that society views as degrading. There are also aspects of the job which are dangerous, and it is not viewed as respectable. As a result I would not want a child of mine pursuing such a career. However, that doesn't mean you should look down on these people. A job is a job, and if these people are supporting themselves and are not on food stamps, or government aid, then IDC.
You're putting the goods out on display for cash and attention. It's just not typically the behavior of someone who has much self worth. Even more than the lack of self confidence, there's the fact that we men feel like you aren't saving anything special for us.
Because strippers basically do things that are borderline prostitution. That in of itself should be regarded as a shameful occupation.
When asked: "what do you do?"
Should the person really be proud to say: "I take my clothes off to strangers." With a sense of guilt free pride? It can be somewhat degrading and not a healthy lifestyle as far as the stripper mindset goes. Many of them get caught up in illegal activities do to the atmosphere stripping is in. But hey I won't condemn it. It's your choice and I can't promise I won't be throwing paper :3
Like nothing, one of my daughters paid her tuition by stripping
Nothing but shaking your ass for a living kinda just makes you a tool lol... I mean that's her life goals... shake your ass
pretty weak goals... just not attractive mentallyI was planning on being a stripper in my early 20's... then kids happened... Lol
nothing wrong with it if you wanna do it it’s your body. go for it. if i was a women and had a great body i’d do it
Because most people have never been to a strip club, and under the impression that all stripper are nothing more than prostitutes.
Well, I don't disrespect them but, I don't know any parents who would look in their daughter's eyes and, say that they don't have any problems in her being a stripper.
And, a stripper can't look in someone's eyes and, say that they like their job.Strippers need love too. Afterall, they show me love.
I personally wouldn’t sell my body. I have respect for myself. I think it’s degrading. To each is own.
If you hadn't the body, go for it. Screw other people's opinions
Self objectification reveals a lack of self respect. Why would anyone admire such a trait?
Some people don’t like the idea of striping for people to get paid some people think it counts as “prostitution” I think they are stupid
Because it's indecent and incites sexual illicit lust to random strangers.
Strriping is fine if is for the hubby behind closed doors, but not right for random strangers pleasure.Cuz it's low and degenerate, lol wtf with peoples heads thinking it's ok, it's too obvious
Nothing is bad about strippers. They made that choice and I respect them for not afraid of showing off their bodies
