NEVER.. because of fee reasons.
1) we always wash immediately.
2) when washing is not possible immediately, I always use a heavily soaked paper.
2.1) even after using a soaked paper, I make a 5-6-7 ply later with toilet paper and place to cover my ass and front.

I think this is mostly a hairy butt situation. Like you can't truly wipe your ass if it's full of hair, the shit sticks to that and from there your underwear wipes a little more..

Basically it's more often a men situation.
