I keep both a journal where i write random things and quotes and paste pictures or jokes i pike into and a bullet journal to help me keep in track of my life. I also keep a diary that I write in less often that is also in code because I wrote some real personal stuff in there that's hard to admit even to myself. I really enjoy writing and drawing crude little doodles so it's very fun. I looking at my older ones because usually I'm like "What the hell were thinking about you idiot lol". It helps me see how much I've grown or changed as a person in even just the past 2 years.

I used to write a lot, mostly to share if I was upset or angry. I still have diary, but nothing bad hasn't been happening in a long time, neither anything amazingly awesome. And I seem to not want to write about my smooth happy life. 😄 There is just nothing to write about. I have been writing a diary for about ten years and I still have all the books with me. It's nice to revisit them once in a while.
I have journals of my past that I would daily write in through my junior high days as well as my early years of high school - I get a good laugh and kick at where my thoughts would wander and how I expressed myself back then. I don't journal about daily events anymore, but I have a journal of quotes and inspirational sayings and feelings that I get from those around me which I like to jot down.
I have a sort of a journal/feelings dump where I pour my thoughts and feelings in a stream of consciousness, which I started a few months ago from my friend's suggestion. I also started a self help book that has certain tasks for a year to make yourself feel better about yourself and have a good year.
I have a journal and a improvement Pill journal that I write in to better myself and practice writing poetry or raps its helped get me through some tough times I've had them for almost 3 or 4 years writing in them as I go.

I started writing in a diary at the age of 11.
I am now 24 and still write in one!
I think it's a wonderful way to cope with feelings or frustrations : just write it down and let it go :)
I also think it will be cool to read them when I am older!Yep. I bought a black leather one that comes with a lock and a key. Usually it's rare to find those type of ones for adults but I found one from Paper Chase. I use it to write my feelings down when I'm angry/ or depressed. It helps me a lot. Or I write down my problems and private issues, hence why I have a lock on it.
I do. Since 2013 I've kept track of happy memories and the day they occurred so I'd never forget them. Once in a while I'll read through it, and find myself surprised at how I actually forgot those events happened, but remembering it vividly after reading the reminder.
No. I hated it whenever we had to write a travel diary or some shit like that during school trips. I always got reprimanded or even bad grades because I didn't do it or just scribbled down two half-assed sentences per day.
Other people can do whatever they want, but to me they're stupid. I don't see any benefits of doing so.I write jurnal every evening to capture the most important things that happen each day. I do it for 1 1/2 years now. Got quite an advantage if I get Alzheimer one day :)
I'm writing poetry diaries/journals since a couple years. Whether I'm happy, sad or angry, I do enjoy writing down all my thoughts and form them into poetry.
Yup, I've had one for 7 years. I dont update it quite as often now but it used to help deal with my emotions

I used to keep one where I’d write all my dreams but I stopped in HS
School and media taught me that journals and diaries were girly things so I never had one.
Everything I write on the internet is on a journal somewhere. If you had the power to read anyone's journal, would you invade their privacy?
