The language that Turkish people speak is Turkish, not Arabic.

That's what happens when a person or Mass Number of "people" integrate through marriage or just breeding, they lose their identity. It's similar to Mexicans who get " upset ' when you call them " Spanish ". They'll squawk, " I'm not Spanish." Yet, what do they talk = Spanish? A Muzrat is a Muzrat plain and simple.

They are Arabic as in Ethnicity... I know they speak Turkish and asre Muslim. Those are 4 different things. Ethnicity, language , country of origin and confession. Don't mix them up xD

ok here's an example. you see an Asian looking person an you just refer to them as "chinese" even though they may be japanese, thai, indonesian or whatever else. you know what i mean? it's an inaccuracy that people who are not familiar with the region usually employ to speak of a general group of people.

so most people assume that turkey is part of the arab ethnic group and don't actually know that they are a separate ethnic group called "Anatolian Turks"

so "knowing" for the better doesn't really matter to most people.

Lol who told you that? Every Muslim is not Arabic. Turkish people belong to Turkey hence they're Turkish. Arabic people are from Arab so they're Arabic. Jordanians are from Jordan and are hence called Jordanians.

They're all Muslims but they belong to different places and hence have different demonyms.

Arab is an ethnicity. I don’t believe that the Turks have an Arabic history, though that’s because my assumption is that Arab = Bedouin which is probably wrong.

Being a Muslim does not make you an Arab. Being a Muslim is due to your BELIEFS and has nothing to do with ethnic origin. You could be Arab and be a Christian/Jew/Athiest

Lots of Muslims are not Arabs. For example Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Indonesians, Albanians etc etc etc. None of them are any more Arabic than white European people like me.

Turkish and Arabic people are not the same. Just because they are Muslim does not mean they are the same. Indonesians are Muslims that does not make them Arabs.
