I've wondered about this a lot. The most obvious examples are in pornography. The only time skin color is really mentioned or featured is if one partner is black. I can only think of one ethnicity that is referred to as a food type "chocolate", and that's usually by white people. Asians have the term "yellow fever" around them. It's really not okay in any sense. It may seem like it makes them more desirable, but it only dehuminizes people, even if those saying it don't realize it.

i didn't address black women or Asian men because they are not as fetishized as other demographics... there are fetishes associated with each demographic i suppose. i think there are elements of fetishes of people based on their race or gender that are rooted in racial and ethnic stereotypes which is rather unfortunate
