As in overlook in the dating scene? Movies and television have taught us that black Women as a romantic interest don’t exist and are either played as the best friend of the main lead woman character. I feel like in society personally most men overlook black Women no matter how beautiful they are? Do you agree?

I assumed when you talked about the media, you were referring to interracial relationships with "White" males. Seeing that this is GaG. So I skipped shows like Blackish, Being Mary Jane, Insecure, etc.

The shows are out there, if you want more like them you should encourage your friends to watch them and show support.

Again, you won't get this kind of entertainment, "Black" women in romantic relationships with "White" males unless you show support for it. And you need to encourage your friends to do the same. Like it or not, Hollywood is a for profit business. "Black Panther" brought in hundreds of millions in profit, thus ensuring more films like it will be made. The same goes for your particular interest.

Spread the word about the shows you like and encourage your friends to do the same. You can't hope that Hollywood will make a show to your liking out of the goodness of their hearts. Besides, this was just a list of the shows I have watched. I am sure there are plenty more out there with romantic relationships between "White" males and "Black" women. I just didn't have the time to do any digging.

Actually l do think they are overlooked more than black guys. Black guys have more of a presence in society both positive and negative. Black women l think can be over looked more than some women to be honest. But personally l like the long curly haired black girls they always get my attention.

I don't think that's the case. Let me put it clearly, I'm east Asian and I do have a preference for Black women because they just seem to have that sass and way of holding themselves that makes me want to know more about them. They are very underrated in my opinion

Beauty is Beauty, not matter the skin color. As with any relationship, there can be some cultural differences or lifestyle differences. That's what I experienced when I dated my Ex. Not a bad thing as long as you are open to new experiences. The most attractive Women I've ever known was from Angola Africa. A lot of black women I meet have personality qualities that are huge turn offs for me. They are either entirely too overconfident or self absorbed, cuss too much and don't act like a lady, or don't speak proper English. The ones that don't are either unattractive, only date black men, or already taken. I am far from racist, and I would date a black woman in a heartbeat if the circumstances were right.
