What does it mean when someone calls you "my g" does it mean they only see you as a friend?

I hate bad text abbreviations, but presumably it means "my girl" (or maybe "my gangsta", depending on the guy and the context). Assuming it's "my girl", that usually indicates he has some actual feelings - guys tend to be more possessive if they have feelings for a girl.

But at the end of the day, you really need to get HIS answer.
