What is the least painful way to commit suicide? The most painful?

I am a writer so do not be alarmed.
My character is committing suicide and I'm wondering if it should be gruesome and painful or somewhat peaceful. I understand suicide is never peaceful but what are the stereotypes for the most and least painful ways. What about the most popular ways?

The least painful is breathing I pure nytrogen you are unconcuse in 15 seconds and dead in under a minute the most painful I can think of is feeding yourself a ton of Viagra and having your dick cut of millimeters at a time or you drink a ton of laxatives and cover yourself in honey and go out into a swamp and let the bugs eat you to death or you get a wolverine high on Angel dust then dip yourself I gravy and you fight to the death of course if you go with that option make sure you video it for youtube

Tylenol is one of the worst because it usually doesn't kill you directly, it causes liver failure, which is pretty gruesome. Pain, vomiting/choking on blood, etc.

i too 90 tylenol a few months ago and let me tell you IT IS VERY PAINFUL, you can't sleep and your body rejects the pills. Making you throw up over and over again i had to sit there crying and throwing up almost all night connected to an IV very scary experience it sorta feels like your high, im 13 and tried hanging when i was 11 that was also painful but just sharing how painful overdose with tylenol is they literally told me if i didn't get help i would have a slow painful death.

Like how I searched up "How to build a bomb." What my point here is, that you're not making a story, you're trying to peacefully kill yourself. Maybe. I just have a vibe of this.

nope I promise it's for my story. It's this dystopian novel about a disease and one of the side characters commits suicide because she can't handle hiding the disease from everyone anymore (everyone thinks she is immune) so I'm trying to figure out a way for her to die

I think if you're trying to describe pain you should describe a failed attempt with repercussions. rather than them dying. As for painless probably heroine overdose or gun to the head.

Alternatively I can't even imagine how horrible death by datura or egot poisoning would be. Datura gives horrendous visions, think the floor turning to spiders and seeing ghosts and zombies of people you know everywhere, muscle spasms, seizures, death etc. Ergot works like lsd (its the precursor) but also makes your veins contract too much and kills you via gangrene generally. It was what is believed to have sparked the witch trials as they often followed warm wet weather resulting in spoiled grain by ergot fungus. With people tripping and dying from the ergot it must have been terrifying.

No, you need a large amount and a pressure regulator so you don't explode your lungs. Average adult needs a 10lb tank. Heavier needs more. You can search "helium exit bag" for more info, but use something like Duck Duck Go because the major search engines block and censor this shit.

Anything medication wise would be painful. Least painful would be something like carbon monoxide. My girlfriend read on Mrs. Angemi's Insta that hanging isn't painful, because if done correctly it'd cause asphyxia and someone would pass out in a matter of minutes and the person dies.

Maybe an overdose on sleeping pills would be something to look into, you would thing itd be peaceful... something like a choking death can be pretty gruesome just because of natural bodily reactions or maybe multiple failed attempts on top of one.
