Maybe but British men married Indian women over there or took them as a mistresses. You notice how dark skinned Indians don't make it onto tv or films and are poorer than light skinned Indians. It's more desirable to be lighter skinned in India with many indian women trying to stay away from the sun so they aren't to dark which is funny because white women try to tan in the sun or spray tan.

Young middle and working class British men came to india and found they were higher socially than they were back in Britain. They were able to get younger hotter Indian women as brides and mistresses than the women they could get back in Britain, sometimes multiple Indian women. Some genuinely cared and loved their Indian wives and mistresses others abandoned them when they wanted to go home to Britain. Some of those half Indian children married British men at least the women did.

Dominance and recessiveness applies only in situations where there is a single gene with two alleles. As for skin color, there are probably at least 4 different genes that work in concert and several different alleles for each gene. So you can get many different skin colors and shades depending on which genes and alleles you inherit. Eye color behaves a bit more like dominant and recessive, with black dominant and blue a recessive. But you can get some greens and browns in there too.
