To me, the Instagram look has never interested me. The girl on the picture just screams unreal. The lips, the filter... No thanks. I'd always prefer a girl that looks the same in real life after she just woken up, for example, compared to the IG model.

I think most guys fantasize to have an Instagram looking girl but they settle down for a more normal girl because
1. An Instagram looking girl would never look twice at most of them unless they are hot or wealthy and
2. because a more normal girl won't stress them like an Instagram girl. An Instagram girl knows she has other offers too and they would feel pressured to keep up with her and her needs and the tons of guys who would drool over her every day. a normal girl is less drama for them... more easily to mentain... and guys above all want their peace of mind. Feeling threatened that they might lose their girl all the time is not something they want so they settled down for the plain jane..
