What is the greatest difference between men and women?

The greatest? I can think of a few differences, but is hard to say which one is the greatest.
1. Men are more ractional, woman are more emotional. Men keep a racional and logical thinking which is good for many reasons. Women can read and interpret emotions on others which is also good.
2. Women have mini ocasional emotional meltdowns. Men have one per year, but it's a very big meltdown!
3. Men are good at making right now under pressure decisions. Women make better long therm decisions.
4. Men are more dominant. Women are less desperate.
5. Men are stronger. Women are more resistent.
6. Men lick. Women suck.

This is all generaly speaking of course. It comes down to how we have differentely wired and our different views of the world. But we complement each other perfectly.
1. We are good at math, leadership and solving practical problems. Women are good at biology, comunication and abestract problems.
2. We are racional most of the year so we help in your meltdowns, then you use your emotional inteligence to helps us through our massive one.
3. We combine ideas and come with the best solution.
4. Both genders like it this way! Men like to be dominant and to chase, women like dominat men and to be chased.
5. We can do heavy work and protect. Women live longer, endure more pain and are more resistent to desease so they can take care of the kids and men's wounds.

Women have the capacity to feel genuine empathy for others. That derives from a more developed emotional intelligence.

As men, we rationalize more, therefore our empathic response isn't that emotional, it's more rational. Our empathy has to base on a rational explanation, not an emotional trigger.

To summarize the differences between men and women, it is best to look at their biological differences. First I will preface that no two people are alike; that is even twins develop differently as a result of the acknowledgment of them having a twin. Some men are more rational than other men, some women are more calm and collected than other women, but these differences are further highlighted when it comes to the differences between men and women. For example, on average, men are more muscular than women, that is your average male is more likely to be stronger than your average female. On average, women are more compassionate than men, that is if you approach a random woman on the street and profess your sorrows, she is more likely to be compassionate and sympathetic than a random man. Each has their advantages, and in my opinion, the greatest person has a good blend of all of these traits, both feminine and masculine.

The reasons for these differences in personality and behavior is deeply rooted in evolutionary biology and innate instincts of the sex's brain structure. In primitive times, when humankind was just learning to shape the land to it's needs, those females that gave birth came to take care of their young. While the mother nursed and swaddled the baby, the male may have had an urge to go out looking for food. In the female's case, she took care of the child, and her brain developed around this action. In the male's case, he traversed the land in search of food, exploring, while his mind developed around these actions. I believe (and science can support this) that our actions impact how we think, and vice versa. It is an endless cycle of nature and nurture developing one another.

Imagine our mind as a function that changes its parameters as it computes the world. With every interaction with the environment, the way how we perceive and respond to that environment is biologically (neurological, i use the word biological to emphasize that our whole body changes, but we are just focusing on the brain for now.) altered. This goes on and on until we have reached our general mental capacity to which our biology holds us (if you can guess what that might be then I'd very much like to talk to you). This is what maturing essentially is, as "brain development" typically tapers off to a plateau in our early 20's.

Males are typically more spatially aware and therefore logical (this is not to say that everything that comes out of their mouths is sensical, we often spout a lot of nonsense as habit (although some do so as their maximum limit of intellectual effort)).

Women are often more emotional and humane. These differences can be reflected across the demographic of jobs for example. Do you see many women (and by many I mean percentage) of working as theoretical physicists, which require the blunt rational thought and creativity that it invokes? Do you see many men working as day care workers for children, or school teachers for elementary students. I often used to joke about why the reason there were so many female teachers in elementary school and so many male teachers in high school was that the women weren't as smart as the men, but of course I'd soon learn that I might possibly a good example of a counter-argument against the very supposition that I had made! No, in fact the women teaching the 2nd and 3rd graders quite enjoyed looking upon the children and teaching them in a sort of motherly affectionate way, while the men enjoyed the subjects they were teaching more than the students he was teaching them to.
