I get compliments but never anything incredible yanno, just compliments on my outfits or hair or physical appearance, nothing I really care for. I've always been insecure about my body, however. I'm not fat or anything I just don't like my body shape. I was nervous about wearing the bikini I got because I was feeling insecure and my sister said, "Don't worry thatonegirl00, with those hips, you can rock anything." My sister is not really the type to give compliments very often and my hips were an insecurity of mine for a while so I felt so shook and happy after that. It is kind of sad that this is the nicest thing I've been told lol
That I was beautiful and had a beautiful heart
I am in a wheelchair and in Montréal Québec where I live. OUR metro system is not fully adapted for those of us pysically disabled with over half of the metro stations without elevators. I am forced to occasionally to ask for assistance to get my manual wheelchair down to the train level.
I am usually assisted by super kind folks both men and women. A few weeks ago a young black woman gave me the finest and kindest comments. She told me that she often sees me wheeling about the city. She also told me I best smile despite my difficulties and that my smile warms her heart. This comment still makes me warm all over still.
She said that my eyes like look like their made out of honey. I froze.

I work in a diner and grumpy old men are my favorite customers. To actually get them to smile or laugh is a compliment in itself. I once had the cutest old man tell me my hair looked like sunshine, but then 5 minutes later some lady threw bacon at me because it wasn't cooked well enough. So it all kinda evens itself out. Tip your servers.
Last week Friday
saw a humble guitar man that I normal pass on the street from time to time
he stopped to talk to me, inquired about whether I had a boyfriend , job etc
then he said he always admired the way I carried myself and he hoped I got a good husband. He said "I really want good for you". I felt that

the nicest thing someone said to me that i had pretty eyes i got light
blue eyes. Just about 3 months ago , another Woman told me how
pretty my eyes are.
I was making a snowman and a photographer wanted to take pictures and mentioned that I had a very nice smile, which made me smile even more. What made this have such a huge affect though is that there was no prompt and he had no prior contact with me. If there is prior contact, i can't take compliments that well because they will usually know how fucked up I am. So i therefore think any compliment from those i know are to try and help me boost my confidence rather than an actual, genuine compliment... which i need to change.
"Your the strongest person I know Jessica. All the things you've had to overcome, not many people could do that and I'm so proud of how brave and sweet you are there's nothing you can't overcome."
This made me cry hearing this 💕

That made me feel like I wasn't useless. It made me feel like I wasn't just some tool or just somebody to run to for some people. I was a person as well.

Elderly people are amazing! We assume they are creepy a lot of the time when they are just nice, lonely people. Sometimes you have to give the benefit of the doubt.
The nicest thing a girl ever said to me was...

I was buying a bottle of water in the train station and an old guy asked me if I was a model.
But more important then looks, a friend of mine told me I changed his mindset about people and it made me happy that I made a diffrence.
My girlfriend says that my arms are safest place for her and she really feel safe with me 🤗
A girl told me she was jealous of me because I was so pretty and had such pretty eyes and such pretty lips. I hate my lips so that made my day
