What fictional character is portrayed as a hero but is actually more like a villain?

Walt in Breaking Bad. He’s a liar! I get that he has cancer. He was dealing drugs behind his wife’s back. Then he mistreats her and doesn’t tell her anything. Also, he isn’t a bad ass. He is actually a wimp who can’t fight, easily scared, low cunning.
Simba and Mufasa in the Lion King.
The entire moral of the story is... that wit and intelligence are evil, that it's cool to bully the weak, and that aggression, toxic masculinity, nepotism and autocracies are the ways to the top.
Whoa! Whaaaaaat?
batman. he litterally has a private surveillance camera everywhere. probably even on peoples restrooms to watch them while they shit and he just beats people up that he disagrees with. fuck the law. batman is a villain.

Blade absolutely Blade Specially after you see Wesley Snipes play the role but the ultimate winner is of course Wolverine I mean come on his tag line ''I'm The Best At What I Do But What I Do Isn't Very Nice''😎😎😎
but of course I forgot the creme-de-la-creme the piece de resistance the Viva La Raza Darth Vader he was a villain who played a good guy who played a good guy who was the villain but died that's a good guy now that is I think the answer to this question my personal opinion of course but no actually Nix that he actually is the number one movie villain of all time so it may not be relevant to this question cuz the question was What fictional character is portrayed as a hero but is actually more like a villain that is actually Darth Vader from front to back starting as Anakin is the death of Darth Vader but also ending is Darth Vader and starting is Anakin
Sorry but It's rambling okay Darth Vader played the bad guy who was the good guy but was also a guy who was bad and good because he was Anakin first Darth Vader last but he redeemed himself buy slaying the emperor to save his only son
now in my personal opinion that is basically Jesus in a nutshell I'm not saying that Darth Vader was Jesus I'm just saying Darth Vader sacrificed himself to save his only begotten son from the ultimate Evil who terrorized him and destroyed his soul and try to take away the soul of his son now that is a villain and a good guy rolled into one cuz I've rambled too much I'm going to end it with name of the movie starring Clint Eastwood The Good The Bad and The Ugly Darth Vader was The Good The Bad and The Emperor was the ugly well I think I got it please forgive the couple of opinions before I like to Auto dictate to my phone and my phone sucks so sorry I've already got in trouble on here numerous times for not using punctuation and if anybody knows pushy poo she can tell you trying terrible at spelling and punctuation only because I dictate to my phone😎😎😎
God. He allows wars and genocide. And who is it that punishes the sinners and evil doers of the world? Satan. So, who's the real hero, and who's the real villain?
That's why it's our jobs not to sin, and when we do he punishes us. Basically it's like in his eyes, we know better.
Wrong Q Dude!
Walker from Spec Ops: The Line
Your basic American Soldier hero story that turned south extremely fast. A great deconstruction of the trope.
Batman , the karate boy mmm 🤔 those the ones i can think of right now they’re the assholes who start the shit lol 😂
I agree. Batman is a hypocrite because he doesn't want to become a murderer due to it being immoral and against the law, yet he insists on being a vigilante anyway which is also against the law. He trusts the system to handle murderers like the Joke by constantly giving him in, only for them to escape again and again, but he doesn't trust the system enough to capture the criminals which he does himself.
Lol very true
I read comics than books. I am a nerd. Red Hood, DC Comics. I love DC. Red Hood is a hero but looks villain.
Mario! lol I’ve seen some interesting game theories about that.
