It's still possible to be attractive even without a good jawline.

The below picture is that of Kim Hee Chul, a Korean songwriter and comedian.
The picture on the left is when he was younger.
He was widely considered to be very attractive when he young.
In fact, many of his female co-stars constantly joked about how he was more attractive than they were.

But after being involved in a bad car accident and resorting to drinking vast amounts of alcohol to get him through a dark period of his life, he gained a significant amount of weight and now he looks like the picture on the right.

He put on a lot of weight and has lost much of his previously defined jawline.
Of course, age came into the picture as well.
But while he HAS gained a significant amount of weight, and has, like most people, been unable to escape the effects of old age, he is still widely considered to be an attractive man, although perhaps less so compared to when he was slimmer and younger.

Conclusion: one can definitely be considered attractive without a good jawline.

I guess it depend, if the problem is just some fat on the jawline then you can hide it with a good hairstyle or just be attractive on front and unattractive on the side but the first jawline is really unattractive.
Most Asian don't have defined jawline but they chose hairstyle that hide it so they look more attractive. If you have a bad jawline use make up and a good hairstyle and it can make the person looking attractive.

As with everything, it depends on the person. What some may see as unattractive, others may see as very attractive. And some people dont care about looks.
