I've apologized for how my voice sounds LOL but I mean you naturally hear your voice in a lower tone than what other people hear so I guess it makes sense to not like hearing something that sounds so "foreign"? π€
@amanda_smith I agree with you. I used to be fairly happy communicating with people because I thought I sounded like I heard myself in my head, then I heard the real me on a tape. Now I very quiet and refuse to wear hearing aids because of the way I sound. The trouble with hearing aids for me is the battle of thinking and reality.
I kind of like it. Wish it was a little deeper though.

I speak English with a strong Asian accent as I have never spoken English for the past 18 years. I dislike it whenever I hear my own voice speaking in English from the recording. I'm insecure with both of my own voice and accent, but I feel appreciated when I hear someone saying that they like the way I talk.

I was actually thinking about and discussing this with a family member not long ago! Any time I hear a recording of myself talking, I think I sound incredibly stupid and have a weird voice. Almost everyone I know feels the same way.
You rarely hear your own voice outside your head, so when you do actually hear it, it's like wtf? I sound like that? Plus I speak unclear with a lower voice at times. Lol dammit.

Sometimes. I've been told that I have a pleasant and/or sexy voice.
No. I sound like if Dolores O'Riordan had a mild Icelandic accent instead of a strong Irish one.
I sound like a blonde bimbo. I think I sound like a airhead
How I hear my voice is fine, but hearing a recording of it makes me want to crawl into a hole and disappear 😂
It can't be that bad π

True π€
I've heard my voice in a lot of recordings. So I'm used to it π¬

That's sad
Gosh no, I sound like an angry cat who smoked for a few years and now has a bad cold; in other words, I despise my own voice.
I'm sorry. That's awful π

I dislike my own voice. Just isn't at the tone it needs to be naturally without me adding base or pitch to it.
I understand π€
depends on what voice I make. It's very easy for me to change my voice. It's a natural talent I have.
OK so girls say I have a deep voice, best described as soothing, assuring, sometimes commanding and sometimes powerful.
I'm not a fan of my voice coz I was mocked a lot coz of how my voice was before and during adolescence phases.
I'm sorry to hear that
I can't stand my own voice , it's too high pitch and once was told
i sound like a young guy whose just reaching puberty so yes this
bothers me a lot.
Not really it sounds like I have a mouth full of gravel.
I do, though, apperantly I have a clear dutch accent that I can not hear myself.
Iβm used to it. lol
I do need to practice speaking up because Iβm so shy, though. Iβm too quiet.
I donβt really know and I canβt tell right now because I have a cold. Yay...
I am always so super excited. Its like I am yelling all the time 😂😂
I speak loud most of the time but I dont know if I like my own voice or not.
Hahaha. Sounds fun ππ
I've grown content over the years 🌸💜🌸
That's good π

I've not really thought bout it when talking. Don't like hearing my voice on video
I can understand that. π
