I'm a grown-ass man. If something is wrong, SAY IT. Don't beat around the bush or butter me up or "protect me", just SAY IT. I'm gonna have to deal with it one way or another, so we might as well get that process under way.

When someone can't get to the point, then I get frustrated and upset - far more than whatever it is that they perceive as the "problem."

Now, I'd say 97% of the time just rip it off... but probably closer to 50/50 maybe 20+ years ago... with age can come wisdom lol... so realized it's usually much much better to just rip it off than let it linger.. no matter what the "it" is :)

I've never been the type to take the fast route. Just seems wrong and kinda rude. I have to find the right time to let the person know. I get that it wastes time but thats just what i have to do

It's not so much waste time as maybe give that person false hope it they think you still have feelings you don't have. It hurts both parties in some way when things end. No matter who ends it. I'm more of a rip it off kinda guy unless my skin is getting jacked up from the adhesive usually from extended use in which case I'll soak it or remove in shower rubbing alcohol will help remove it. Years ago I got a skin graft and part of it didn't take so I had to got every other day and get that part cotterized and they're put a bandage on it so the scab would be stuck to the bandage the on my next visit they're rip it off again to make it bleed and the cotterize it again and bandage again and did that fore roughly 2 or 3 weeks it was a lot of fun

On the literal side, I just had the image of slowly peeling the wax when a woman is getting a Brazilian, as opposed to a quick rip. Talk about torture. Lol

Rip it off. Fast, and over. Had enough tapes and things on me the last six months. Most want to go slow, afraid to hurt me, and I say just rip it off!! I'm 3/4 Viking, and I can take loosing a few hairs, here and there!

Dependa on the situation. But frequently I like to use baby oil, or some other sort of non-polar substance (yay, science) to kind of dissolve the adhesive, so that the bandaid kind of falls off more gently. Sometimes it takes a little bit longer, but it doesn't hurt that way.

But otherwise, it's usually better to just rip it off quickly.
