Can you be intelligent and ditzy at the same time?

Not ditzy, but more like... oblivious.
I've met lots of intelligent people who did not know what was going on most of the time. They're intelligent but their innocence is what makes them attractive, to me.

Of course. "Ditzy" is mostly a result of not paying attention to the moment. Intelligence is reasoning ability. Plenty of people who do well on intelligence tests are inattentive to their surroundings.

Yeah you can be very academic and smart, while not being aware of your surroundings. I would say ditzy is just a personality trait not a sign of intelligences

Yes! I know a few people who are book smart but have no life-skills or common sense.. it happens a lot to sheltered people or folks who just have easy lives..

Yessss I relate to that so much because I’m book smart and I have straight A’s but I can also be quite stupid in the street smarts department

Actually the more intelligent the more likely you are to be ditsy. In movies it’s always photographic memories and perfect speech that makes some super intelligent when in real life it’s exactly opposite.
