Yes if you dont spend it on habits, your living situation or have a lot of people to take care of.(smoking, drinking etc.)

I live with my little sister, mom and grandma and we get by on around 1200 dollars a month. I'm getting a job in a few months. But I spend roughly around 20-30 dollars on food for myself for a week but they mostly spend it on cigarettes. (Mom, grandma) it's not my money but yeah you can live on 800 dollars a month.

Well my mortgage and car payment is $1200 a month; so I can't do it now. But if I played off my car and moved back in with my mom. Then sure, I guess I could; but I'd rather not.
